Dry in tent with grow

Of my 5 plants, one is way behind. For scent-related reasons, I need to keep the operation inside the tent where the carbon filter is. Can I dry the 4 plants inside the tent while still growing the other one? The humidity is right around 50%.

Thanks. I was thinking that too.

Also torn whether to harvest now or in 10 days when I get back from vacation. Some trichomes already are turning amber.

Main things that come to mind are, you don't want to dry them out super fast from any oscilating fans etc. like was mentioned, and you don't want to beam light on them non stop either.

Great point about trichomes.

I imagine I can create a breathable curtain to blackout one side.

I imagine they would tend to dry out faster though, due to the heat from the light

for sure, they will. Heat is no good for drying the herb. but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

Do you have pots on ground level, or a table up off the ground, because I was gonna say maybe you can dry the herb under the table in that darker cool zone, if you had setup like this. just a thought.

If that tent is A/C controlled just drop the temps, If your other plant are already ripening then you'll be fine.

If not you could try hanging the whole plant to slow down the dry time, i actually dry my plants this way for personal taste/flavor reasons.

You must have a mold free environment (airflow/temps/clean) to hang a plant like that though.

I have smart pots on a folded up baby gate (Repurposing!). Unfortunately that's where they need to be or else the light fries them. Not nearly as much amber on the bud, so think I'll have someone water them while away and harvest then.
