DRY ICE for C02 / harvesting

ok im getting down to my last couple weeks before i go to harvest. someone was telling me about a method they used before where they placed dry ice into a cooler and then placed a rack in the cooler for the buds to lay on before drying out. after letting the bud be exposed to the dry ice for a couple of days before drying out is supposed to increase the crystals on the bud from it getting so much C02 from the dry ice... has anyone ever heard of such a thing? i was thinking of doing that then taking a cardboard box and placing it upside down so that the open part of the box is facing the floor. then poking holes in it for the stems of the bud to poke through so that i can just hang the buds upside down in the box, have the stem poke through the top a little and use a paper clip to make sure they dont go anywhere while hanging. ive heard of then placing the bud in jars for a couple of weeks, letting the lids open for a few hours once a week or so. If anyone has any good advice on harvesting/ curing i would love to hear it as for this is my 1st grow op.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure that doing that will dry out your buds. I believe that dry ice is a way of quick drying after harvesting and will infact not add more THC but it might lose some THC (but give you a nice mint taste cause the chlorophyll doesn't break down)... correct me if I am wrong

after you harvest the buds they wont grow anymore, co2 is added durring flowering, to increase yield, you might try 3-4 days of complete darkness before harvest, the amount of christles wont change, but the concentration of thc in the heads will be stronger, as light tends to deplete the thc.
