Wars of the future will be like that Star Wars movie where they fire a big tube full of robots that land and deploy. Except it will be a giant tube full of armed drones that will use it as a booster rocket to get close to the action on the other side of the globe.

Helicopter makers will be best suited to start building large drones.

You are absolutely right. Those robots will be both large and small, flying and walking and crawling.

If we aren't careful, they'll be so effective they'll kill every human on Earth.

Why does every scenario end with a terminator? :-)
Cockroaches from the end of the world.

Millions of them, each carrying an ounce of C-4. They don't need to kill, maiming is plenty.

The last word in area denial weapons!

Shades of Star Trek's 'echo papa 607'

The flying cockroaches in Florida scared the shit out of me. I hit one in the corner of the bathroom many times with a plunger.

It just stood up and flexed its chest are me.

Anyway, a drone that can carry a ton of payload and fit in a two car garage is my idea of a highly useful piece of transportation.

Jetsons, anyone?
