dried marijuana

i have been storing in mason jars. bud felt dry so decided to get a hygrometer. put 2 in each of different strains. they're all stored properly air tight with room to breathe. for each different strain there are different readings on the hygrometer ( which is totally understandable) . the 2 hygrometer in same jar have the same reading . but been reading online about not letting humidity under 55%. these are readings in range of 30-35%. its been like this for a while , how bad could this be? or is it normal ? people saying its fine and no need worry.
if its bad, should i increase the humidity with cotton ball or q-tip? i don't like the fruit peel or lettuce idea for last.?

no access to boveda here .
but does this mean the grower over dried them that the humidity is so low in there ?
worst case i guess ill invest in shipping of boveda.

Order some Boveda 62, put one in each jar it will keep your precious buds at 62. They can be ordered from May places.

if no boveda packs - going to have to take product out of jars for about 1/2hr for a least 1 week. Don't worry about the RH - when the buds are "slightly" crisp/hard . Then keep in jars closed and enjoy (Old timers way before Boveda Packs) Don't put anything else in jars (orange peels, apple slics ect) let the "gases" given off by the pot to cure it

Did you put a hygrometer in there when you first jarred them?
If you had allowed them to get down to 35% humidity, they may not have actually cured. Curing requires a higher humidity level than that.

If they dried out after the cure completed, then rehydrating with boveda or other means should help.
