Nope he retired before I even got to him to ask for a sig, that was like 7+ years ago. Then I got into one doc who would sign, he didn't want to ask Surrey Memorial for my cat scans so he sent me for an xray which is useless for herniated disks. When I got it he said no he won't sign. So I said fuck it found Dr Muscle, had some info from a walk in clinic I use to go to, told him about the pain in the ass to get copies of my cat scans as my neurologist retired and the hospital too forever to get back to me and he signed.

Nerve root impingement? Most disc herniations are asymptomatic - so unless the nerve root is impinged or osteophytes are growing your pain may be more of a centeral nervous system processing "error" as opposed to the structure referring pain.

I don't know its been a while but if I don't follow strict lifting procedures I'll walk like a duck for a while or if I do any thing like jumping that compresses the spine things don't work properly for a few weeks. Its L3 and the neurologist said it popped out in a way that its not easy to operate on but causes less pain vs the other side. Then there's the awesome shooting pain down the leg or numb toes if I lift wrong.

Just called Dr Mussell in Chilliwack who signed my original paper work. And he don't deal with medical cannabis anymore. The receptionist even laughed before I hung up (WTF?)

+1 to getting acmpr paperwork signed easily. Doctor is not a "pot Doctor" although and did question the change in forms... Signed after I explained the laws have changed yet again.

Sounds like you have an issue with the L4 nerve root too. Try and get referred to a specialist. Family drs suck shit for managing chronic pain

Its impossible to get refereed, it took me 2 years and 5 doctors to where I couldn't walk/insane back pain to finally end up in ER and ER doctors asking if I had a CAT scan. Two days later I was in for one. I'm past 1.5 years trying to get to a foot specialist for all the times I rolled my ankle. Nothing...

If you don't have a chance of cancer or dying soon you wait.......
