Strain: Dr. Greenthumb's Bubba OG feminized (Pre '98 Bubba Kush x Ghost OG Kush).

Growth: 6 weeks Veg under 600 watt MH, and 9.5 weeks flowering under 1000 watt hps.

Nutes: Advanced Nutrients Grandmaster line and Coco coir.

Yield: Roughly 3 oz per plant.

Bag Appeal: 9 out of 10 on my keeper phenos and 7 out of ten on the others.

Smell: Coffee, citrus, skunk.

Taste: Great!! Same as the smell with a earthy hint, and the citrus is more pronounced than the coffee taste. It's simply addicting!

The High: Averaged 8.7 out of 10 from ten different people I had rate it excluding myself. It's a very potent and balanced high that I found a little intrusive at first. I had been smoking on Sannies Extrema for about three months prior to testing the Bubba OG and it made me almost uncomfortably high the first time I smoked it! Lol!!

Comments: IMVHO this is flat out a kick-ass strain. As I said before I had been smoking Extrema (which is a damn good strain) for a few months and was a little unprepared for how damn strong the Bubba OG is. This was my first experience with any of Dr. Greenthumbs gear and I am thoroughly impressed with the results! They are a little slow in veg even with the combo of coco and a 600 watt MH, but they showed sex within four days of flipping the lights and are done 8 weeks after that, but I let mine go 9.5 for a touch of amber. This was also my first experience using Advanced Nutrients (I had to try them for myself since people either like them or hate them) with Coco and it couldn't have gone better! The nutes are a little pricey but the system is simply idiot proof IMHO.

In closing, I HIGHLY recommend this strain! For anybody looking for a very potent, fast flowering and easy to grow Kush, this is it! Some people find Greenthumbs prices a little off-putting but for me the results are well worth it. I had 100% germination rate, didn't get any hermaphrodites, was able to find two legitimate keepers in a pack of 11, the yield is pretty good, and it's FIRE! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Peace,
Juba

P.S.
Sorry for the crummy pictures! I don't have a camera and these are off my phone and really don't do this strain Justice.
I also had some pre-harvest pictures I manage to erase with my tech savvy brilliance! :wall:

Good report...I've been considering some of the Docs genetics..particularly the Matanuska Thunderfuck...seems like every negative review about him is just about his prices not the genetics. Might have to give it a go next round.

Thank you! That's exactly why I had to try his gear, I don't see many reports saying the quality was bad, just his prices. Due to the results I had, I will have no problem purchasing Docs gear in the future.

She was the runt of the litter. I actually tossed her outside, and she started to flower before the others,
soni moved her back in the tent. She had narrower leaves than the others, but one of her
clones is getting big, and the leaves are much wider than the mom.
Smells like you described, ( all smelled simillar ) but she high was superior to the others.
I will be making more seeds from this one.

That's a nice healthy looking girl! I also had a very sativa leaning pheno like that, the smoke from her is more mood enhancing and uplifting than the two I kept which are very stoney indica leaning phenos.

Nice strain report and photos. I love Doc's strains and have grown out most of them but I thought this was his best one yet.

I've run docs chem 4, arcata cut, endless sky, flook juice, big purps, uk cheese suicide cut, dope, matanuska, oh zone, Cindy, and jazz and I think that's it, the Cindy tasted great but wasn't very potent for me, I didn't get one potent pheno but All tasted great, now to be fair I don't think my growing methods agreed with the strain. Matanuska I got alot of males and 2 females in a 10 pack, my dog ripped up one female and the other never flowered, the oh zone I got huge nugs but wasn't very tasty or potent, the dope was pretty good, jazz was ok too! Chem 4 was just like my chem 4 clone I have now and had perfect germination and all phenos were similar but all excellent smoke. Arcata cut was better than any arcata I've smoked and I've smoked tons of it, 10/10 germ rate 10 phenos were similar and banging, covered in trichs and tasty just like the chem 4. Endless sky was very finicky but I got 1 pheno in my two packs that was the best shit I've ever smoked, it smelled like your nose was in the middle of a field of exotic flowers and fruits and tasted exactly the same, great indica Dom high, extremely potent, my favorite plant of all time, but I did get some bunk phenos, also got some quality phenos just not as good as the keeper that I never cloned, my biggest mistake in this game was not cloning that endless pheno, flook juice is big purps x endless sky and is prob the 2nd best I've smoked, absolutely covered in trichs and amazingly tasty, big purps is my 3 fav strain of all time too bad he stopped selling it, b/c no one bought it, big mistake! The uk cheese suicide is an amazing plant and is the same as chem 4 and trainwreck. 10/10 germ all phenos were excellent some better then others very hard to pick a keeper, perfect structure, great yields, very fruity in the beginning of cure but gets really cheesy as it cures. The final result being a excellent cheese taste with fruity undertones, great all around high for a sativa Dom. Great potency, smoked some of his ghost cut and don't remember much besides it was excellent! Same with bubba I smoked it and bought a 10 pack and not one germed, but doc is replacing them on my next order, Im hoping he will give a 10 pack again but I waited so long to tell him because I had tons of other strains to run I'm lucky he's replacing them at all after 2-3 years. Then again as you can see I spent lots of money with doc and so has my friend I introduced to doc! All in all docs genetics are phenomenal and even the strains I didn't like, I only ran 1 pack of each of the matanuska, dope, jazz, c99, and oh zone and I wasn't as experienced as I am now so some of it couldve been my fault and with strains like matanuska he doesn't sell regs anymore so maybe the fem line which I've heard excellent things about is better and the dope would've been excellent if it had been a tiny bit tastier and more potent!

the Bubba OG is brilliant puffage
You're spot on OGMan! I have a devastatingly potent cut of Northern Lights that I've been growing for about 10 years that I'd take the Pepsi challenge against most smoke out there, but I find myself reaching for the Bubba OG over my NL more often than not because of the potency and taste combination. After a proper cure the smell and taste of the Bubba OG is addicting!

Since you and blis84 have run many of the Doc's strains, what else of his gear would you guys suggest that are must tries?
