i know there are 125$ packs of blue dream fem's there


i do not care much about price if its what i want

and have spent more on specific auctions…than 47 a seed and been happy

my problem is hearing people spend 50+$ a gal on "mj specific "nutes

dry granular ferts with water and a bit of humic sludge added

p.s i got the 150$ bros grimm c99's on HS too…

they were pretty good....i have got better value at doc's

You remember those days as well? yeah, 150 for 10 beans - that was alot for back then. I actually bought those, green giant and matuska thunderfuck. The matuska was nice and resiny but auto- flowered no matter what.

Good to connect with people who remember those days. Gives us something to talk about. Now that I think about it, its crazy to think how much time has passed and things have changed.

down south in usa i has changed a lot…and that is exciting news

i guess in canada it has too but not for the good..not exciting news


canada was just getting legal med weed then..after health canada was dragged kicking and screaming

to court…10 years later health canada tried[and are trying] to take away our right to grow

and replace it with unaffordable…and mostly unavailable meds


there were 400$ packs of seeds back then….actully there was little cheap seeds

the old cw auction was fun

150$ in todays dough is way less than 150$ then

there are a zillion seeds co's now…that may be good or not

s1 seeds were just starting then..the seeds co's did not want to make them but after the public demanded it

seed companies make /female stock just sat there

one good thing about s1's is that it allowed people not in the loop to get near identical copies of

clone only's

the bad thing is that people did less of their own…

i guess if one is worried about plant numbers that fems are great

and great ones can come from them..but male/female plants are fun too




times sure have changed..but legalization is so slow up here


so i guess i will agree

it was a wonderful time

DR. GREENTHUMB morphed into DR GREENBUNK, when my friend read up on him he was pretty excited about the Girl Scout
cookies he ordered @ $150 for a ten pk. he has been growing for over 20 years ,well versed in soil, hydro and cloning, so when he only got 1 to pop out of the ten, I was shocked. No reply after addressing to him about his unsatisfactory results spoke volumes.and I won't place a order now . read he is a cranky buzzard only makes matters worse. If he is so renowned he should act as such . dersevantly gets the name Dr. Greenbunk.

I was told that a letter addressing the very poor germ rate was sent. It was not .So I have to make amends for a slightly caustic tongue.The bad germ rate still exists, but Dr. Greenthumb can right the purchase. I usually split seed purchases with my Amigo here. But on this one I bowed out, waiting instead for my friend to get the grow on. So now I'm in a holding pattern. A e-mail was sent to him today on this issue. I will be fair and get back to update the situation.

my germ with gsc was 100%..same with the other person on this site who mentioned their gsc..
coming on the web and bashing people for third party occurances is not a class act..
yes things can happen..even if one has been growing for ages..
doc is an approachable guy…few[none] people will spend time helping like he does
good job on the "caustic" comment retraction ...
things can happen..the place to have done your speech was not here unless it
actually it was more of an attempted axe job
but nobody is perfect..so good for you

My speech was-- not. A seed review page is an appropriate avenue for my stats etc. after all it is a seed Review and that is why it is here. I read a few letters in these 27 pages that described their purchases etc. and just like yours they are most favorable. However there are those who were not as fortunate. Bashing was not my intention as a third party or otherwise. like I stated these 50% of said seeds were originally were to be purchased by me.And as being partners we always order together and I order them and receive the parcel but I let my friend order since his girlfriend lives in Canada. And as you well know only sold from him in Canada So I bowed out on this purchase waiting instead to see the resultant urb finish. Then he called me to say I lucked out because he got 10 duds. One plant out of 11. the doctor was contacted last night by the actual purchaser , I'm a straight shooter and I'd be first to a acknowledge anything positive. Or ....... both doors are still open.

you started out making up cool sounding abuse 'names" for Dr Gt and hoped every little person like you would jump on board
based on a purported germ prob that was prob because of "driver error"
you or actually the person who had the germ problem had waited and contacted doc he woud have told you
that germ rates were good..even them if you were a decent person he still might have cut you some slack..he still may
…but if i were him and caught wind of your "creative kiddie" worded web bashing i woulda dumped you like a hot potato

Doc has been going for decades..cares a lot about his patients and the germ rate..it must be hard to suffer rude

I did retract my negative statement.I am no Don Rickels but it was only meant to be humorous, without any verbal bashing intended. For the record ,I had many plants over run with spider mites once and I told my friends that wanted some,this...You don't want this stuff I grew because it's BUNK..............Peace and God Bless

Hope all is well. I am writing you this ,possibly in hopes of some helpful info. I have and will not write to DGT. [actually I shouldn't since I did not place the order.. The problem still exists on the Girl Scout Cookies beans not popping ,except the one I had mentioned earlier. He sexed it and fortunately it is a Fem. So that's nice, However The person who placed the order has sent him a letter asking for them to address the issue, and being in the customer relations business, I must assume she handled the inquiry in a professional established manner. No reply at all from Dr. Greenthumb's. In your dealings with them, is there a tip or advise you can give me. I will send any info to the person whom placed the order. Thank You. .... Regards, dano

Last week I found one Iranian G13 in my seed stash. This is from one of the first releases...so I would say 4 maybe 5 years old. I never pre soak seeds but I did this one. I figured it wouldnt pop. Sure enough she popped a tail and is loving life.
Now does anybody know when Bub will be back on the shelf?
