Wed nite nute change for the Fridge Ladies. 2nd week nutes. PPM @ 350 and pH 5.80. No photos, cam charging, may add some later on. The Critical has grown more in height than the Haze. The fan leaves on the Haze are much wider, a short, squat, bushy plant. Stronger scent of skunk to it. The Critical plant is close to showing the pistils near the main cola. Totally different plants when looking at the fan leaves.

This Ms. Haze with wide indica look.

This is Ms.Critical with her beauty stretch.

Looking inside Ms. Critical and hoping my eyes are deceiving me.

I just wanted to thank you for following this grow. I hope that this grow is successful for me and you. May all your women be Fat Bottom Girls with a lot of frost. Thanks

Worked on the fridge today. Got some reflective material on the top and sides. I removed the remaining metal rods, just leaving the outside frame. I used waxed hemp string to make a grid inside the existing frame. The squares are a little under 3" square. Will try to post some photos when lights come back on.

Well ppm's have dropped for a second day in a row. Sounds like a increase on Nute Wed.
I have put the scrog rack inside and it is 8" from the rack to the top of the net basket.

I've been giving them a shot of CO2 every evening right before the light come on, checking pH and ppm's, water level of the tote. I think this will be the lowest level I could put the scrog net. I still need to have access when doing the water change. I've tried to get on a schedule doing this and it has helped 10 fold over the first experiment.

Have a great weekend :joint::hump:

Yo Maxed, not trying to spend your money for ya but they got a reflective tape made to go with that reflective insulation. It would serve the same purpose as your white tape but give you more light back. I use that stuff in my boxes.

Working with what I had on hand at the time. It is sorta like not doing anything during the grow, but improve it when you have it on hand. Going for supplies tomorrow, and I will put it on my list.

That's what it's all about. We got through Grow 2 without a scrubber and it just ain't happening this time around. Don't need the neighbor asking about skunks again.

I ventured down to the nearby HTG store this morning to pick up a bottle of Advanced Nutrients Overdrive for my girls. Browsed around the store for a while and found this on the sale shelf.

I am going to wait until the present grow is finished and the install this LED fixture in the fridge. Will be doing a lot of reading until then. Anybody that has tired the LED route speak up and let me know how you fared in your grow.

Why wait? When I got my HID I place the girls in the Clothes Dryer......yep, they were small and all 3 fit at the time....and hooked that bitch up immediately. I say do it ASAP and you'll feel better about the whole grow. That LED should murder the CFLs you got in there now.

I had given it thought but I want to make sure on how I'm going to secure it to the roof. I want to be able to raise & lower to find the growing sweetspot. I also want to research some more on using LED's. I was tempted to install yesterday, but it has enough weight to do a lot of damage to some plants under it.

I decided to be productive today so a trip to the supply store and after 45 minutes of wondering around, I think I got enough material to make a SCROG net and hardware to hang the LED fixture. Will add some photos when the lights come back on @ 6 PM. I made the net from 1/4 dowel rods and waxed twine. I hot glued the rack to the top of the tote, so I can do water changes every Wed. I made the legs of the net 6 inches tall. Now they need to really start that growth spurt to get up to the net.

These are a couple of shots of the SCROG net.

A photo of the new LED fixture installed.

I got the LED fixture mounted to the top of the fridge. I may have to move the plants closer to the fixture over the next couple of days. Damn I was just getting use to the CFL bulbs. Anyway, tomorrow will be 5 weeks since they have been in the fridge. I will do an update tomorrow, marking the 5 week mark. Wednesday will be the nute change, last week of veg nutes.

I don't have a link to this light. I looked on their website and selling a 90 watt. That was the smallest they had. It doesn't have any mfg label on it and no paper work was in the box. Temp wise you are going to love it. My fridge was anywhere from 82 -84 degrees with 6 CFL bulbs and last night during the light on it never got above 78 degrees. My question is how far should the canopy be from the fixture. I had the CFL's about 3 inches. I am going to move the plant closer to the fixture here in a few minutes. Hope you can find one!

Week 5 update. Both plants are about 6 inches tall and it looks like the Critical may be this first to start budding. I moved the tote up closer to the light. There is about 5 1/2 inches from the SCROG net and the light fixture. Should I start giving them "bloom nutes" this Wed when I do the water change? So many questions... Anyway here are the photos.

This shot shows how I can use the rack to get the plants closer to the fixture.

Anything I'm missing just jump in and thanks.

Door is closed except when attending to the ladies needs. High temp with the CFL's was 84 and the highest temp I've seen with the LED fixture is 78.6. Humidity was 22% with the CFL's and 32% with LED's. I also try to give them a shot of CO2 just as the lights come on at 6 PM. Exhaust fan is turned off and it gets about 1400 ppm of CO2. When the CO2 controller calls for more, I plug the fan back in and open the door to check water level, pH and the ppm level.
