Grow them damnit

Purple wreck is fucking awesome and regs are waaaaaay better than fems.

Experienced growers go reg.

Now u can find a good keeper and keep a mother plant for 2 years or more and not worry about making a beginner mistake and them all herming.

Id say you lucked out.

If u rly want nothin to do with em send em to me.

Hello,

Here is the difference between Regular and female seeds.

Regular:

You have chance to get either a female or male seed. There is a higher ratio of females usually so this should not be a problem. Males can be used to make huge amount of seeds for the future grow which is a good thing. Breeding new hybrid as well is a plus.

Feminized:

Will give you a female plant. The problem with fem seeds is the fact they can prone to hermies under low stress. Fems are good for people who have small grow place and cant afford to get males and lose time. Having females can save you time and $ (Electricity, soil, Nutrients)

In the end its up to your needs.

Remember getting regular seeds is nothing bad and gave you a nice opportunity to have way more seeds.

Hope it helped

Wish you a nice day!

Dude how can u not know what regular seeds are?

There the same damn plant, just females and males

They used to call them female seeds, but changed them to "feminized".

Regs are way better. You can make your own seeds and have tons.

i understand the process of breeding but i dont have much room. two tents one 2'x 2' and another 4' x 3' i think. so if i was to grow a reg seed and took pollen from it and put on fem plant would those seeds be fem?

A better, much more stable plant to work with through your grow with them. Don't fear the male plants pollinating everything in the first 2 weeks of flower either you'll be takin them out before they start makin any pollen ready to do this, if you get any males that is... grow them exactly the same as you would with any seed you'll be fine.

No they would also be reg's. To hermie a female plant into giving seeds though is technically crudely feminising a plant but the results of that can be very unstable to that of using male pollen to female plant/buds breeding.

No, thats not quite how it works.

you have about a 50/50 chance of getting male or females from reg seeds. you just have to be slightly more careful to keep your eyes open for the males early on, so you can get rid of them, if you dont want them. once you do that, all the rest of your plants will be pure un-adulterated females.

if you keep a male plant, and your female plants get pregnant, then you will end up with a bunch of seeded bud. (which is bad if thats not what you want.)
but the seeds from the seeded plants, will be reg seeds. also having a 50/50 chance of being female, or male.

they say if you have a hermi plant, which is female, then you will get female seeds. (but they will also carry the herm trait, and will likely herm under stress)

there is also some type of chemical that you can put on your plants to get female seeds, but its name escapes me at the moment.

(feel free to correct me if im mistaken, i'm not really a grower, but i read A LOT.)

It's nature. Take 2 bunnies, 1 male, 1 female. You breed them. The baby bunnies come out ... how many are male and how many female? Well, nature determines, but over time it's about 50/50 (actually, I think there are usually slightly more females than males, but as an average 50/50). In your case, you plant five seeds and you could get lucky and sprout 5 fems, or unlucky and get 5 boys. Time will tell.

Start 'em off and plan as you go along, growing can be pretty unpredictable like that  every grow is a learning exp'. Can't say anymore than that tbh, happy growing

I wrote my reply earlier and then got to thinking ... maybe some people think the seed companies are able to determine which seeds are male and which are female while the seeds are still seeds, and do not realize that a scientific process has been conducted on the plant to produce "feminized" seeds. So, I found this article that does a pretty good job of explaining the whole feminized seeds process.

Hope this helps!

Well you can harvest pollen from a male and just pollinate a few buds and get some seeds with mostly sensi.

Its easy to spot the males you will be fine, and better off.

Good luck, gonna be a good grow. That's a classic strain.
