why is there a walmart and home depot in ontario oregon, but not 800 feet away in idaho where the minimum wage is significantly lower?

Duh, this is a fucking stupid thread.

Of course businesses don't create jobs, the Job Faery-King Obama makes all the jobs.

He personally killed Osama too and rumour has it, he once fucked Putin in the ear (while he was riding a bear, topless).

everyone already knows its because of sales tax, you have no point.
Just because you have never worked for a business or a corporation doesn't mean others haven't so your snide comments about how you are superior to everyone because you invested a dollar into walrus r us and came out with $2.50 doesn't make you a financial genius like you claim.

The idea that "job creation" is a function of a coercive government and not a free market phenomena is nonsensical. The only thing coercive government can do is set up barriers to real job creation thru regulation, licensure and other restrictions.

A "government job that is productive" is oxymoronic in the sense that most government workers do not produce anything of value, they are simply part of the apparatus that feeds off the production of those that DO produce. Those few government workers that do produce something of value also do not produce to the efficiency level that could be done if it were supplied via a competitive free market backed by customer demand / preference rather than an edict given to a captive market unable to apply the solutions a free market offers.

Hillary needs to wear a dunce cap and write on the blackboard 100 times, " I will not attempt to talk about things which I do not know about". She also fucked up hard while giving a speech (for $225,000) at a college telling the students that college was too expensive.
She is a neocon statist democrat, which is another way of saying she combines all the worst attributes of both the douche bag cults into one wonderful stew of prohibitionist war mongering nannyism....plus she probably hasn't been laid in a long time.

Because one gang on the other side of an imaginary line steals slightly less than the other gang over the imaginary line.

if the lowlives here trying desperately to manufacture some outrage got off their bullshit stumps for a second they would realize that it's people with money to spend who create demand and thus jobs.

creating more jobs is a decision of last resort for businesses. if they can satisfy the demand while hiring less people, they will.

businesses don't create jobs, demand does.

hillary is 100% right, and you angry wiffleballheads simply can't stand it.

your whole retarded utopia is really cute and all, but you'll have to explain to me why medicare has administrative costs that are a mere fraction of the private health insurance market.

why is the government run health care system so much more efficient than the competitive free market backed by customer demand and preference?

Well your first mistake is you think you are comparing two distinctly separate things, but you are not. The "competitive free market" (private insurance) that you refer to doesn't really exist since it has government fingerprints all over it via licensure, regulation etc.

Also even if your argument were valid, how is something that gathers and keeps its "customers" from forced compliance better than a service that allows the consumer to chose? It almost seems like you are saying some people should make others choices for them....you wouldn't be advocating prohibitionist tactics again would you Comrade ? (that's a rhetorical question BTW )

from anyone else that kind of idiocy woulkd be shocking, from you... not so much.

"demand" never created a damned thing, only those who produce can create.

theres huge demand for supermodel sex slaves, flying cars, light sabers, and puppies that dont shit on the rug, yet "Demand" has not created the supply for these things.

people who create businesses to FILL demand make shit, demand is just wanting, and wanting never got anything done.

awww, that's a really nice attempt at a cop out, but there is plenty more empirical evidence working against you.

for example, we can compare degrees of government control on healthcare and see where the highest administrative costs lie.

for example, they have a massively government controlled system in hong kong, but some of the lowest administrative expenses in the world. they have slightly less government control in england, and slightly higher administrative costs. even less government control in switzerland, and yet higher costs.

and then there is america, where we have the least amount of government controls, and the highest costs of anyone by a long shot.

why does all of this directly contradict what you are saying about your magical free market utopia? why do costs go down as government controls tighten?

so you're saying canine obedience classes don't exist? prostitution, your only means of getting laid, does not exist?

this fucker will be available in 2015, by the way.

supply never created a single job. i have a large surplus of 3/4'' gravel in my yard, but until some demand for it arises, i am gonna sit on my ass and not shovel that shit into the driveway for someone to haul off.

Demand creates the environment from which opportunity abounds, but it is the businesses itself that create the jobs.

You should realize that the purpose of a business is to make a profit, not to employ people.
