My premise is, aloe plants (or the majority of them) are healers. Using them to foliar and soil drench gets great results, they have multiple uses in the garden, planted as a companion they should aid in the overall health of the bed (or pot) and plants in that bed. Im purely basing this on its 100's of uses. As I said Ive had it as a companion plant to mj before, but wasnt really paying much mind to what it was or wasnt doing.

I know aloe prefers a drier soil than cannabis does. this may or may not have an effect on the overall benefit the aloe plant would provide as a companion. it may not like living in a more moist environment like that, but i dunno cause i've never done it!

I was not knocking your idea i just have never used aloe really for anything other then burns. How can i make the best use of these do you think? use the flesh in teas and foliar sprays? Im not sure how the companion planting would go due to the moisture issues raised about but i would try it out for sure see what happens.

yeah that's why I said it would work on his southeastern-asian rooftop - it's hot there, so the topsoil is bound to dry up quickly, giving the aloe a bit of what she likes whilst it's still moist under for the cannabis plant. that was my reasoning ;)
And that's also the reason I won't bother trying it in my indoor setting :blsmoke:

i make a concentrate by just grabbing a 1/2 gal of h2o, and some fresh aloe leaves. i submerge my hand with the leaves in the h2o squeeze the shit outta them. Then, strain out the bits, and then pour that water into the bucket with the amount of water i need to water everything with. aloe drenches work great and they contain so much good stuff (saponins, enzymes, almost all amino acids, vitamins and minerals, ect.) and you can use that same water for foliar too (make sure it's well strained). i just do a drench though. ~1tbsp of flesh to 1 gal of h2o. i never measure, just grab what i think i need and start squeezing lol.

oh yeah, and use within 20 min or so of making it, as it degrades quickly

Plenty of stuff I want and can't get on there, just put a few items in my basket and started to check out and shipping costs were $32 which ain't too bad. Might be hitting em' up for a few things when the tax rebate clears.

I hope she gives you that, would be cool as fuck! Thats not the same as fake shopping lol, thats asking for a very cool job (to learn). Its what my mother used to call window shopping where you would go look at shit you wanted, but didnt buy anything because you couldnt. I always saw that as a waste of time :)

Well yeah, that is, if you discount the eventual pleasure window shoppers may have when gazing at things they find beautiful - or at least desirable... idk, not a window shopper myself either, in fact, I hate shopping for anything :-P
But I can't actually afford to go on an apprenticeship either, so... haha
Though if she said yes, I definitely would find a way to make it happen!!! :bigjoint:
