88gs if i remember correctly. somethin like 17% return give or take. not too bad for some shake. If it was the BD buds it probably woulda been over 20%

eh doin a "nug run" isnt so much about the return of weight more about the return in terpines/flavors you get off of the bud VS the trim. Trim run tastes good but nug run tastes like the buds in hash form. When blasted/purged correctly. haha. Thats why nug runs go for $60-$100 vs trim runs that average $20-$50.

The "shake runs" ive been doing are a nice medium. Good yield and really good flavor while costing less than a nug run but more than a trim run. Very nice results haha.

yeah i remember when we were first talking about it you said people didnt even know what it was.

Itll be a nice return in both yield and flavor. It also depends on how you separate your trim. Some people throw it all together fan leaves with next to nothing along with sugar leaves.

I take everything that doesnt have trichs on it and toss it. Then all the sugar trim and frosty fan leaves go into a different pile for bho.

i'm with you there man, nothing but sugar leaf goes into my hash or bho. fan leaf just adds to much 'green' to anything i reckon. i did like the flavour of the stuff i made last run, winterized it with ethanol and it came out really clear. It was a mixed trim run but still tasty none the less.

For sure! i do a few things depending on the size of the run and whos it is. Sometimes i dewax sometimes i dont. You should try not dewaxing or trying a single solvent dewax when you get a lil more comfortable. the iso/ethanol really cuts down on the flavor.

Took some clones,

Transplanted,

Tossed em in flower yesterday.

Left side are the short ones, right side are the tall ones. 9 plants, 8 clones, 1 seed.

Gonna grab a trellis net to support the fat tops so theyre not floppin over. Not really a scrog but kinda?

More just for support.

And this time im not veggin after transplant. Hopin it will keep em shorter than last time without effecting yield.

Hey man, I've done without dewaxing for the most part, mostly as i didn't have access to the ethanol, here's a Q if you can answer. I did the ethanol wash and dewaxed and was expecting the remains to become hard and brittle I.E shatter though they stayed more wax and soft. wondering what i did wrong.

flower tent's looking good. if you get like pea netting stuff i'd recommend putting two layers across the tent and then when the buds get reall tall you can pull the second layer up. i did it with one layer and they still all fell over lol

So whats your verdict on the LED's... yay or nay? I just recently switched from 600w HPS to these exact same lights too so I'm also very curious what your thoughts are. Do they really backup what they claim and are they worth it? Im very happy with it so far about 2-3 weeks into flower.

Anyone had a look at KaliMans Rocksters Cheese ?
Ive got a frient who swears by it being a pure un-hybridised sativa.
Im sure there an explanation on the seed bank tha goes something like, : " There was a room full of Exodus clones and 2 amazingly turned male "
Ive saw snaps in week 4 12/12 and very viney, bondage every other branch and very long slim fan's

Sorry for the delay guys! Been movin and damn interwebs wont be hooked up until the 7th!!!

As for the LEDs so far im really impressed. I like how close you can get to the plants with them and theres no denying how cool they run. I usually put my AC in the window in late march early april. i still dont have it in and its early may. That just shows ya.

One of the few downsides is that for this 4x4 id really like 2 of the 151s (basically one of my panels split in half) because the very outer edges are a little dark unless i raise the light. One of the love/hates of no lens. Its nice i can get them within inches of the tops, but for growin the 9 plants i have the middle outer 2 are a little dark. If i had 2 of those 151s id have a little over 900w in that tent and easily get 2 zips off each. But so far this 600w of leds is doin what 600w of hps is with a lot less heat.

For the first round everything did as expected. A little over 8 ozs which is the usual for a 4 plant pheno hunt. This round i have 9 plants in there so im expecting a solid 1-2 zips per plant since theyre a lot shorter and i know they stretch a lot. Last time i had alot of lower branches with these guys. Must just be the strain but this time i went in and mainlined/lollipopped em before i put them through the screen a little.

I have a screen in there now and plenty to make a second layer. Its adjustable for now so i can raise it if needed. I just put it in the other day so theyre already 10 days into flower so there wont be too much more stretch!

And don! the reason its probably sappy is because of the little bit of water in the ethanol along with the higher boiling point of ethanol. If youre messing with it you really would want a vac purge system of some sort. But youre good with not dewaxing. especially in smaller batches. Anything under about a half zip i wont dewax unless they really want it done.

The single solvent dewax is a true work of art and one of the few difficult things in the process
