Does "the pill" make your plants female?

Hi, i was just talking to somebody and he reckoned his friend gave his plant "the pill" ie the contraception pill as it has estrogen. To be honest i thought he was full of shit (he is a constant bullshitter) so i thought id ask you experienced folk. Cheers
