Does the future of humanity actually matter to you?

I'm glad I went back & looked at your entire question.
No, this is home. Our birthplace.

For a very short window of our history, we have the ability to leave this planet and seed ourselves into space.

WE MUST. There's no other choice. In the (not very) long term future, we'll use up the resources available here and then very likely destroy ourselves fighting over what's left.

Getting off this rock for good means handling the problem of lunch on a permanent basis, and for that we need advanced indoor agricultural technology.

It's a big job, but I'm on it. Who's with me?
Beings will continue live on earth long after we're gone.

Look at it like this, NOTHING Matters, but not in a nihilistic kinda way. Our so called "GOD"/The Great Unknown does whatever it takes to become aware of self, so we aren't seen as individuals but as a planet, or a section of the Milky Way Galaxy. We can't expect a Being in charge of the whole universe to be responsible for what results from ours, or any other existence. Understand how ONE came into Being & all your questions will answer themselves

Perhaps. But if we humans would like to be among them, we need to stop shitting where we eat.

It seems easier to send humans into space than to expect them to responsibly husband resources for progeny they'll never see.

Would it matter to you if humanity went extinct after you died? Would it make any difference to you now if humanity expanded to inhabit every corner of the universe? Of course you'd never know anyway, right? So what difference does it actually make?

Why should I or anyone care about climate change? The actual effects that will take place down the line decades from now won't really affect any of us living now beyond what we likely won't be able to mitigate ourselves, so should I really care? Why?

Why should we give a fuck? Why don't we all just live for ourselves, now?
I consider my self a very lucky as should everyone else . We are in the middle . Of creation and destruction .

We damn luckie we wernt burn 200years from now .

Damn luckie we weren't born 200 year before this time.

Damn scared for my kids and there.kids.
It's not to late to make a change.
But I suppose money selfishness and greed
Are more important

The ascendancy of corporate aristocracy is the greatest threat humanity currently faces.

I believe that is exactly what they're trying to do.

They who? Doing what?

No, in times past aristocracy was about governance. Today it's more about corporate power. The aristocrats- aka major stockholders- are better hidden now.

The excuse is always governance. They are the people really running the world. You don't notice what's being done because we can't see the top from the bottom and vice versa.

Speak for yourself... because I can see them and what they've been doing just fine. That's why I've been raising the alarm, in an effort to raise awareness in others of what's being done to all of us.

You asked who/doing what, and by the way they don't need to hide anymore. They're protected. I'm tired of hearing alarms, time to come up with a solution

First part of the solution is to convince enough people that there's a problem. That explains my current tactics.

Solutions include fighting for campaign finance reform.
