If it was me, once my paperwork was sent in...I'd be firing up. Even if you got a visit from the cops, just show them your script. Peeps need to remember, you're not asking Hellth Canaduh for "permission" to grow, your doc already did that. All you are doing with the ACMPR is registering your grow, name and addy into a database. The only reason you need actual ACMPR paperwork in hand is to be able to purchase from a #LouseyProducer.

Fuk them if that can't get their shit together to register your name into a database and send you a piece of paper in a timely fashion. Again, your doc gave you permission to grow, NOT Hellth Canaduh. Once you send in your ACMPR paperwork...fire that grow up.

That's what I did, I fired it up once H.C confirmed they received my paperwork. I know of 3 other patients who also did the same thing, their story turned out a little different. One had a small script, the cops came and took all of his plants, no charges laid. Two others had large scripts, they took their plants and also charged them with intent to traffic. Now they have to pony up the cash to a lawyer, trying to represent yourself for trafficking would be pretty stupid. Rumor has it H.C is forwarding info to the local authorities for larger scripts….If you have a large script I would not start before the paperwork arrives, your decision though.

Slam dunk, will likely never get to court. I would totally represent myself. It's actually quite easy when you can prove your paperwork was submitted. Cops are stupid and need to be informed...video everything and stand your ground.

If you're going to take video, make sure it's video that can hold up in court.
Usually requires proper time stamps, recognizable locations, etc.

All smartphones time stamp video, usually tag location as well. It's your right to video any LEO in the performance of their public duty of enforcing the law, even if that duty is directed at you.

I've had a few PM's about my experience and/or info so I'm going to clear as much up as possible now. I have a formal diagnosis for ADHD that I've been assessed for twice, tried several different medications and found that cannabis works best. I found this out through trial and error. I had seen my family doctor for years for pharmaceutical drugs before I had requested marijuana as a medicine. For me it was a last resort because of side effects of other options. I was then given a referral to a clinic called the Cannabinoid Medical Clinic to see a specialist who then assessed me and gave me a 5g/day prescription [That clinic was full of asshole doctors no better than a shitty drug dealer's house]. This was about 2 years ago now. I was a heavy user back when and because of how my doctor and I agreed for me to use my medication with a vaporizer I found myself using even less than before, cutting my script down to about 2g a day where I am now. I suggest if you want to go about getting a script for cannabis if it's even worth it now with impending legalization, is to see your family doctor and plea your case to them, but start with everything else you've tried first instead of asking for cannabis and cannabis only.

Well I've had a kick in the balls. The place that said they would help me has changed their mind. Only in the case of terminal cancer will they go above 30 grams a day. I had cancer previously and so has my father but that genetic bit didn't matter to them. I contacted Kirk Tousaw's office and a guy wrote back to me and said it would cost hundreds of thousands to take my challenge to court if I wanted to challenge the obstacles I've encountered with the new system. So yes, I can go to my original MMAR doctor who wants $4200 and then $4200 for the annual renewal, which I really can't afford to do and I know this is so wrong them charging those crazy amounts. A few weeks ago somebody put up a chart from some company that listed their fees. I'll attach it here. By any chance would any of you recognize what clinic it belongs to? Thanks.

Outrageous pricing for sick people who need to make RSO. John Conroy is taking emails of shortfalls, pricing, doctor rejection, LP problems for possible class action. Please share your story. Make our gov't accountable. Thank you,

with the mmar if you had a mental illness anxiety/depression, ADHD etc you had to have a psychiatrist diagnose you. Is this the same with new system? Cause I find it funny my general practitioner can hand out lerasapam and clanasapam or any other pharma garbage to people with mental illness but not a planto_O barrier to access

I've had 2 thorough assessments where I've been diagnosed twice with ADHD by 2 separate psychiatrists, so yes. I'd say.

I can help anyone find a doctor that is willing to prescribe up to 30 grams a day for a lower price than others want to charge. I did a big search last year and found that some prescribing services want huge money for prescriptions. That being said I found one service in Victoria that charges approximately $900 for a script of up to 30 grams a day if anyone is interested and they do Skype calls.

My problem is that I am in the MMAR and my DG is spraying the weed with banned chemicals which I just found out about not to long ago and I've had cancer already. I am at 40 grams a day and I really don't want to have to sacrifice my prescription amount to go into the new program. None of us should but that is what has been happening.

So I'm just checking with the community here at rollitup. Does anyone know any doctor that will match my original MMAR script of 40 grams a day?

I should add that my original MMAR doctor is now working for a prescribing company and get this, they're willing to give me my 40 gpd but they want me to pay $4200 PLUS an annual renewal fee of $4200 which is just rip off city. That's the motivation behind this post. Nobody should have to pay that much money. If anyone out there knows of a doctor that would give me 40 grams a day and not take a pound of flesh as a fee, could they please send me a private message? I'd appreciate that very much. Thank you.

But if you're a guy that is on 10 grams a day and you want to go up to 30, drop me a line and I will provide you with the name of the service that I know of in Victoria, BC. Cheers.

I did the Skype doc thing through a clinic in Vancouver for my mmar back in 2012 and my renewal and dosage increase a year later. Nothing weird at all about it, imo. I'm not sure if things have changed, but it was an okay experience for me.

I went thru a consultant who also was linked to a toronto Cannabis lawyer, who in turn hooked me up with
my original prescribing doctor way back when....there was just the MMAR,who just happened to be a psychiatrist/sleep /restless leg specialist.
after reviewing my case the doctor told me I qualified as a category A since I qualified for 6 different diseases/ reasons...and using extreme arthritis as the reason for prescribing. The part that was freaking me out was "the compassionate end of life care" category...A... reasoning.

I mean I'm quite sick originally hurt my neck when I was 23..but have been hanging in there for some time now but then had a 7 hour open heart surgery.and quad bypass
and shortly after recovering from that, I took a 22' wood I joist to the head/neck that had fallen from 12' high garage walls.injuring my neck for the second time in my life...only thing was I was not supposed to be able to walk this time said my mri's.......but I was not looking at it in terms of dying....
however,the doctor was.

He said that with my current health and sleep patterns and level of depression etc. I could expect I would not be around for long unless some drastic changes were made....that's when I started with the mmj.... eating green leaves helps with inflammation /eating decarbed mmj would help with the pain but would make it difficult to work. smoking and vaping some helped with the sleep.
Made the drastic changes in diet (also Diabetic) and supplemented a non functioning thyroid, low T. and a few other things.
I also suffer from P.A.D and P.N. and have numbness in left hand fingers and thumb. and have all the trigger points described F.M
and have many symptoms that mimic M.S.
and was recently diagnosed with moderate carpal tunnel in both wrists and unknown bone growth on both elbows (popeye elbow)
On top of these things ,I have been to numerous specialists /neuro guys gals for my lightening legs.. I have constant movement of the muscles in my legs
and its not restless leg(seen the specialist..lol)...the muscles twitch constantly day night/ night and day to the point that I get lactic acid build up and cramping
I can get out of bed and be completely tired out as far as leg strength goes...plus get woken out of my sleep to stand up and get the leg cramps to stop.
I have had a neuro surgeon say to me.. "I just wanted to say I'm so sorry ..man you really got the cards stacked against you buddy... its one of those things where you can say life just ain't fair..." he also said They would not do surgery on my spine until I am already bedridden and he was my third surgeon referral in 5 years, who said basically the same thing...that my surgery would be too high risk.
Basically and mmj are the reason I'm still around...partially due to actual therapeutic benefits, of the resin and plant material and by smoking and the relief it provides....for sleep and promoting an appetite.

The big one for me is the drive to carry on that it gives me. Even though I don't get much of a buzz from the best of the best...
It allows me to think that I can do things, and therefore I continue to try. Kinda tricks my mind into thinking every things gonna be ok.

I have been building our dream house for the last 10 years (since heart attack and surgery and before breaking neck) and have vowed to complete the house myself.
I can no longer work fast and hard but am still trudging along doing a little bit I can each day... I have got all my inspections completed now and just have drywall and trim and flooring to do. Yes I'm getting some young lads to do the drywall because of the 12' ceilings
and will some day finish or you know....maybe the wife's next hubby will finish...
