Does anyone have any experience manufacturing in the US?

First of all, I'm not here to convince anyone that what I am claiming is true, I am just looking for someone that is interested in what I have that might be able to help me out in manufacturing it.

I have a working prototype and a patent pending on an odorless water pipe. From burning to exhaling, there is no odor. I would rather not share the design until we talk because I'm not ready to pursue 100's of patent lawsuits.

I have talked with Chinese manufactures but have decided against it because there are virtually no IP rights there. The problem is that I have no idea where to find a US manufacture.

I've been thinking about traveling to Colorado and making appointments at smoke shops to let them try out the prototype and then try to work out a deal with them but I'm also interested in any ideas you guys might have.

Activated carbon? I made a pipe with a filter filled with activated carbon on the front and back of pipe......filter on the mouth end would always stay in place, the front I would remove to light and slip back on after lit......only thing I didn't like about it was it took the taste away from the smoke but definitely eliminated smell....

Get yourself an interview on the tv show Shark Tank or the Canadian version of the show called Dragons Den .

Dont promote it as a pipe used for mj that point is obvious , promote it as a tobacco pipe & then you may get on the show .

Find a place or individual who blows glass pipes. This will help work production bugs out and get you something to sell and gauge market interest.

The idea sounds promising, keep at it!

Yeah the filter isn't what I've patented, it's the system I've designed to move the smoke around that I've patented. The smoke doesn't go through the carbon before you inhale so no loss of taste .

I sent an email to Shark Tank but never heard back and I didn't know about Dragons Den, I'll give it a shot.

I think it's going to have to be molded glass due to the complexity of it but a glass blower could help me make a better looking prototype. I'll try and find one in my area.

be sure you idea is protected if your going to market it probably trademark it before the patent its cheaper and hold your idea in your hands no ones elses..
