Dodgy clone

OK.

So this clone I have bought traveled quite a bit to get to me and I unfortunately didn't have the chance to inspect the quality beforehand due to safety and being out in public etc. I assumed it would have nicer leaves and be in rockwool. Anyway I have got to use this now.


Can somebody please give me a few tips to ensure this thing survives and grows successfully. Thank you in advance

Yeah doesn't look too dodgy at all, I don't see wilting or burned tips or anything, looks to me like you're good to go

Thanks for the all the replies , appreciate it. Can somebody please tell me what signs I should be looking to know it is ready for transplanting ? Roots at the bottom of the little pot or if the plant shows new growth ?

When the width of the leaves are wider than the mouth of the pot is a good indicator early on.

it should be ok in that pot for at least another week, maybe even two.

if you don't want to tip it out of the pot and visibly check the roots another way to find if it needs transplanting is when it requires watering daily, then it is usually rootbound and NEEDS to be transplanted

Is about the pot size but ive always waited till 3 days after i could see roots at bottom then carefully flipped the pot ( plant between fingers dirt in palm) an looked at root bundle.... If they look like they have room between them pot goes back on an i wait a week.....air pots are better option to avoid root binds

Got this clone on Saturday and doesn't seem to be dying , but doesn't seem to be growing at all either.

Guess I just need to be patient now.

Time for a coffee and a bong.

Ya it takes a few to root.... Once it has enough to support whats there it will take off

Lol thanks now I feel slightly better about mine's chances of survival.
