Hydro? Go ahead and do whatever placebo gimmick mindfuckery you want, it doesn't matter. Add every gimmick you want, keep your weed wet and pretend it's dank, whatever makes you feel good.

Natural? Don't ruin your weed with that shit.

I've cured with and without the boost packs and the end result is the same in my experience. If you dont use them you will probably have to burp the jars more often for the first week or so.

Putting small hygrometers in the jars takes the guess work out of it so I would recommend getting one of those for each jar you use.

I think they balance the humidity nicely a bit at any point of jarring. If you dont know what you are doing, they will help a bit in preventing mould if you burb too little and also if you burb too much, they can help things not to dry out too much(assuming that air where ever you burn is under 62% RH). You will still need to burb, maybe a little less and they do a better job at raising humidity than lowering it, so they dont prevent mould, just add a little buffer for the humidity.

I have only used boveda and i think they came up with these and integra just copied their product(or bought a license for recipe), dunno if one is better or if they are exact same.

They work well for long term storage. As in, not opening a jar for months. But only after a proper cure.
I have some Skywalker OG I harvested last Christmas that still you would swear is fresh.
If it's stored properly how does it loose moisture....A bottle of water is still the same after a year as long as there's no leak.

Thanks all.
I have them already so its not that I need to buy them;
I use them for long term storage in vacuum containers like this from tight vac:

I just wondered if I can put them in the jars during the cure process and not only after few weeks.

So maybe the correct question is - can it harm the curing process?
Currently the stuff is in mason jars, I am burping 4-5 time a day in the first week, then 2 times, then 1 time and later I move thme to the tight vac on and burping every few weeks.

Thanks!

My buds are a bit dry so I put one 8 gram package of boost in each jar, I hope it will not ruin the smell.

Lurking the boards and randomly found this thread. A ton of misinformation was given to you. Yes, they absolutely work/help. Use them for every single grow of mine over the last 10 years and never had a single dryness or mold issue, ever. Years late I know, but I hope it all worked out well for you.
