Do you grow because you enjoy it, or for the money, or .....

I started out growing because it meant all the weed I could smoke. Then I began to enjoy growing more than smoking, and the money was just icing on the cake.

Why do you grow?
Is it just fun?
Is it for profit?
or is it both?

I started growing for my own use, then hubby got cancer and I grew more so that I could make his oil. He's doing good now and we smoke and do edibles to relieve pain and lower blood pressure and blood sugar. We share with our friends and family and help out anyone needing medicine. I occasionally sell some to help with expenses, but mostly I grow for the joy of it. Like you said, money is just icing on the cake.

90/10 profit/fun. It was more enjoyable for the first few years. When it becomes your job, it's more of a pita. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it more than anything else I could do for a living (except music), and it's definitely more money than any of my other choices. It's just that it becomes a routine, especially a perpetual sog op like mine. Smoking for free rocks, though...

I need to grow more because I only use a vaporizer.....

Not that I've successfully reached harvest yet.
But, it makes more sense to grow your own. Rather than pay someone else an obscene amount for a couple grams.

Money mother fucker and I'm not buying my wifes weed if I don't smoke the shit. Paid for a nice trip the disney and the scenic route on The drive home like ny city and other interesting places.

Im actually into growing shrooms though right now. Same profit as weed, small growing area, very low cost!!! and a shit ton faster.

I started growing to support my long time stoner habbit.
Having a full time job and all, i find growing sucks up quite a bit of time from me however i think im an addict for pheno hunting lol, that alone is fun for me

I'm guessing 1000 gal pots and vegging atleast 6 months indoor before moving them out? Or perhaps just growing strait in the ground?
This is probably the best weed picture I've ever seen!

I started growing because I didn't want anyone to know I was trying Marijuana for pain. After reading the grow forums I kept growing because there are very few people whose pot I would smoke other than my own. Now it's a constant hunt for increased pain relief.

To make other people feel bad about the quality of their weed when they smoke my weed.
