Do you cut big leaves off your autos?

I have a 5 week old Sour Diesel plant. It has some giant leaves that is blocking alot of light from the bottom. They will not tuck because they about pencil sized at the base of the leaf. What would you do?IMG_9922 (1).jpg

It’s not blocking its absorbing the light!

that branch will grow out around the fan leave giving it width!

Only remove fans (if u wish) once in mid flower and I personally only do it if they block buds from light
Thank you! It is my first grow.

I personally do, yeah.

When a leaf gets SO HUGE that it's (maybe) using up more energy to stay green, than energy being sent to the rest of the plant for growth, I pull it. I have no scientific proof of this, just my opinion and observation

What I personally do is pluck leaves that are blocking other leaves or branches throughout the grow.
if a leaf is half yellow pluck it. if its half yellow now it will be yellow in 2 days and yellow leaves dont photosynthesize. at least I think.
if a leaf is blocking 3 other leaves or a branch just pluck it.
basically if its messed up or is causing a shadow to be cast on something that needs light I pluck it.
i do however leave (hehe) all of the sugar leaves and extra small fan leaves.
just took this pic around 10 minutes ago im thinking a week from harvest.

the buds with the most direct light get the biggest so if there is any shade on any buds you have to rotate your plant or cut some leaves.

edit. my VPD is crazy so burns are from that. hand is still sticky after i touch the plant so i say its a win.
