Ao do u just have it alow drip threw the clay pebbles ? Or is it a running stream threw there? I thought if there wasnt enough air bubles you get droopy overwatered plants
Either way. My system has a pretty good stream coming from every outlet, helps keep the water moving and thus manages temperature better. Fish people know that waterfalls aerate better than airstones and the circulation provided is almost as important.

Don't forget that you'll need to chill the RDWC water into the sixties and circulate it so the entire system is maintained at the same temperature.

About how many gal per hr would you say your running into them, and also, do you think it would be more efficient to run my chiller threw a wort chilling thingy or run my system straight through it ?

Don't put your nutrient solution through a chiller, too much can go wrong. Besides, you should use the same chiller to cool and dehuey the space as well. It's more efficient than AC. That means a manifold and air handlers and other things you don't want nutrient solution passing through.

No need for a wort chiller coil, just go to home dePot and get copper HVAC tubing. I use half inch OD.

A 550gph waterpump kept up with eight sites just fine. I'm running a bigger pump now and I don't think it's making any appreciable difference.

Isnt copper bad forbthe nutrient solution ? And how can it be used to cool the room to ?
Copper is a micronutrient! Besides, how is it going to leach into solution at a high enough rate to matter? I've been using them for years with no ill effects.

Google 'water cooled air handlers' for pics and discussion about devices that blow air through a radiator that's fed with the cold water from your chiller. They come in many different shapes and sizes depending on capacity needs, space available, etc.

This is the component that sits in the room and controls temperature and humidity.

Wow you are verry informative, how big of a rez do you think I could control with sayva 1/10th hp chiller and this setup? I was hoping 50 gal

Waaaaaaaait a minute. Buy a toy chiller and get toy sized results. You were planning to buy AC or something to cool this hallway, right? It's not going to stay cool with 3 x 600W of lights running in it! The standard calculation would give ten thousand BTu as the needed cooling capacity. That's also known as a one Ton chiller, about 1.5 hp.

One big advantage to water chilling is that you can place your chiller far away from your grow. As long as you can run a pair of waterlines to it, you're good. This means your op can be in a confined space and the unit doing the cooling can be in another room or even, as in my case, on a different floor of the building.

Think twenty to thirty gallons for a chiller circuit res. If you grow your op, that may well need to grow some, too.

Awsome, how go u think the 3 lights will be with air cooled tubes I can eather pull air directly. Out if the room pulling cold air in or a system pulling air from outside and pumping it under the house. And yes im going to get a mini split, I tryed makin a ac box for a window unet I read a bun h of threads on but it leaked bad so that was a nogo but a mini split is definitely in t he future, but might take a bit to get one. And I am planning on running the plumbing threw the growroom wall or " hall way" haha into my room and putting it under my fish tank. U think 1/4 hp would work ?
