Thrips are nasty lil shits haha, I dealt with them this year. Monterey Bays Garden Insect Spray (Spinosad) works wonder and won't leave a foul smell on buds like some pesticides do.. Sorry, I couldn't really answer your question. Just thought I could pitch my two cents hah. Hope you get your problem under control! What strain? Also now looking at the pictures and noticing those small pots of soil, that could be a huge problem! What size are those?

That is not thrips damage. Looks like overnute.
Actually it looks like you have hotspots in your soil. Did you buy a commercial mix or make it yourself?

Actual size.... Liter, Gallon? That's probably your problem is your roots are bound and have no more space to grow which can cause problems like what you are seeing and lead to more problems easier like overnute, overwatering, etc.

what i don't get leaves are still pointing up means healthy... think be drooping if was getting attacked by bugs
