I think I might need to transplant this, but im not sure.

It looks like it could be a female by looking at those little hairs sticking out the nodes. Maybe they arent hairs..

How can I transplant without hurting the plant or root system? I have no clue where the roots may be.

i just tip the pot upside down and carefully remove the pot from the top and then simply place it in the new pot with how ever much soill you need. Make sure the new soil is a little damp but not wet and a little superthrive always helps. I transplant right before i water so the soil slides easier out of the old pot then once transplanted i give her a little bit of water. also i would suggest getting someone to help you it makes it a lot easier. Hope this helped.

that needs to be moved to the middle more if u dont it will go root bound nd the roots will run into the side of the pot ...nd it looks like it neds to be watered ...especially if ur in a hot climate area then for sure it needs water it will grow really nice....water it everyday once a day before u put it out in the morning then it will have enfff water to last it the whole day nd the night then jus continue the process happy smokin :)
