diy water and beer chiller?

has anyone tried using a mini fridge for chilling their water? you would have to mess with it a bit, like coil up tube inside either the freezer part or fridge part, and if its too cold then use less coil and such. but that way you got the cold beers and waters right next to the grow room.

if not im doing it. lol. shit seems like a great idea to me

just unscrew the upper unit, trim the plastic in back to allow lowering the chill unit n place in 5 gallon bucket with coil of tubing that will hook to pump in res. easy n economical. note not for huge res n very hot temps but does fine in temperate env.

the unit that is suspended at top of fridge is the cooling unit... unscrew so it hangs... it will not be low enough to imerse in bucket...cut the backing of fridge to allow unit to hang lower... coil recerk line in bucket...position in fridge with cooling unit inside bucket, with in and out circulation lines penetrating the fridge walls n hooked to res n pump...fill bucket with water... turn unit on... kick on res pump...wala chiller working
