DIY Strip Build - Final BOM

I think that even if you have minimal voltage drop for 3 units daisy chained youd still have enough head room w a 20V driver.

I treat same model different cct as same voltage. Unless they are from a strange manufacturer or there are bins asociated with the product.
Serial? If there are differences then they would be amplified by more repetitions. Not sure if this is what youre talking about.

I did vestas 2 spectrums 2700/5000k in parallel but on low current. No problems, nothing blew up, but i did have juicy sinks. But ive seem teknik saying avoid different ccts on same parallel circuit. But i think it also had to do with that the guy he was advicing was doing it for spectrum, like some warm and some cold intead of going for all neutral white.
Definitely not talking about running different spectrum which may have slightly different volts being run parallel. Instead just a 4k strip in series with a 3k, and these pairs run in parallel on a 320 42a. Each pair would have close to same v.

That and the variability you'll have on your heights when you end up needing one corner to have the lights a bit closer/further away. It's a lot easier to raise one side of a 2x4 than it is an entire corner of a 4x4 fixture.
Could u explain why 1 side of the corner would need more lighting than another 1

I'm strictly speaking in terms of plant physical heights being varying. One corner may have some seriously stretched branches that need more space from the light.

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and I came across it looking for info on building my own led light. I actually didn't think there would be much input about the subject... God was I wrong lol, after getting clear about what strips and drivers are popular within the community my question is has anyone ever tried building a photoboost strip light with metal studs before? Would they be ok with the heat the strips put out? If they are I can go and buy that stuff really cheap and because I've worked with it before I feel pretty confident I could build a more stable frame than these t slot frames would be, any info on the subject would be very appreciated

Check out THIS thread there are a few examples of different builds, but none are of the photoboost strips.
