:lol::lol::lol: no freaking way this is crazy to go threw all of that just buy a new one i have never even thought about my ppm just started looking into it .......saw this and was like sweet i can make my own ...lol lol lol ...i think im just going to buy one now ill make it my christmass present :-P

this is far from diy buddy.....nice try though....:wall:

plus....by the time you buy the stuff needed to build that and the time it would take to build, you would be better off buying one

I just bought one myself but like I said some electronic savy person may have what you need lyin around so I threw it on here. if someone does do this project let me know how it turns out

Kinda hard DIY, i was expecting something easier. I I tried to do that by the time i got it right i could have found another job, worked, gotten my pay check, cashed it, and bought a PPM online and had it delivered. But for the electronic handyman this might help.

Interesting read. I am an electronic type person. That kind of project is more for the challenge and not really to save money...but for the time and effort on what we use one for, along with the cost, I will buy one that I know works out of the box.
I do like the information on making ones own calibration solution.
