NothIng too fancy on this one..kept it low key. Almost done, just a few things to work out..won't need it for a bit anyways

May have to make a simple one for a friend in need. After making these wiring beasts the simple ones are a breeze.

Early flower update, just a few days in. Light goes up to 482w now, strongest led light i've ever used. Been running at about 300w..still deciding what to run it at..maybe 400w at the most.

2 footer versions? Do you have 5 fuck with the ballasts at all or specific fixtures? I have several extra to fixtures I wouldn't mind putting to use

Edit I think the bulbs I use now are fast or whatever. 15ws

I use the 22" version. The t5 fixture are hagen glo i think. Found them on sale in a two pack. They were one of the few single light types that had reflectors at the time. Nicely built..

Uva and uvb in one easy source..

Looks like it's going to be another beast of a run for you. You got some big girls there. You light is like an hps...a fucking powerhouse, but it just happens to have top efficiency and spectrum too boot...WINNING.

I have a shit ton of 22" 24w 10mW UVB T5HO bulbs coming over right now. I tested them against the reptisun and the UV output is the same. But they have a slightly bluer tint to them than the reptile bulbs. So I'm trying to get my hands a spectroradiometer to determine what exactly they are putting out. The one grower that has used them so far is liking his increase in trichs...he's only used them the last 3 weeks of his run. Will have testing done on his next harvest. I'll let you guys know when I get it broken down.

It'd be nice to see some test results for sure, can't wait for that.
Compared to my micro area with just cobs, this area puts out much better stuff in the end. I just use the micro area for a vague representation of the strain. They come out considerably better with the "extras"...thats why i still bother with spectrum additions.

Some random diy stuff..

Been playing with the snap in carclo TIR lenses and bjb connectors. They are pretty cool but the beam is really tight. I don't think they make a wider angle that will fit either. Still..good enough i'll leave them on. 5k and 660nm make nice stocky plants. My 5k are 70cri so i do feel the little extra red helps them a bit

Another light i made. Kinda a extra in case something goes out.. Its not efficient at all running 1.74a on a mid bin 3590. With no ventilation the sink hits the cap on the 60c thermostat pretty quickly. Thermostat works.... Need to uncork it a little and maybe add a little mass to the cpu cooler again. Might even just aircool it through a inline and filter
