Case : Led light cases ....

Well ,aluminium is a soft metal and easy to work with ..(drill ,cut,....)
A bench drill and a file set are almost mandatory ...
Some epoxy and rivets ,are also handy ...

Now ...
Regarding large sized cases/enclosures ...

Very usefull would prove to get some aluminium profile bars .
(not thick ..1-2 mm is enough ..) .
Of different profiles ... Angles ( Γ , L ) , or " Pi's"(Π) ,or H ..or other ...
With those you can make support bars ,attachment points / frames and more ....

As for the enclosure itself ....
24" x 24 " ....That's huge for an enclosure ...
One has to come ,with another idea to avoid pricey ready-made options ...

With a bit of "modifying " ....
These might serve well ,as large led light enclosures ...

I still think a 10 inch diameter aluminum tube covered with COBs and a fan blowing through the tube would be perfect for a vertical grow circle.

I think a vertical grow with cobs sounds counter-intuitive. I thought the whole point of a vertical grow was to avoid using a reflector, but with cobs, the light only goes in one direction anyway.

that makes me think we will probably max out at efficiencies similar to
skilled vertical growers, ~2g/w. vero 10 would probably be a good choice
if you wanted to do a vertical grow. you can use aluminum "U" channel for
the heat sink with the vero 10s. make a hexagon out of "U" channels lol...
would look crazy but would probably kill it in a small footprint 2x2 tent
because you could get 300w in there and have bud from the container top
to the ceiling.

I actually almost bought a suitcase..lol.

I liked this one...http://www.exploreproducts.com/kalispel-style-handgun-case-261704.htm

But it was too expensive for me as nice as it is. 25" internal dimension would work well...

Or bigger one at 35"....

Not really a bad deal for the bigger one...it'd nicely protect all the components.

On a lighter note

The sun works well. :p

Peyote purple stud pollinating a blue dream and peyote girl. No purple in this pheno so far but it's better than no seeds. The one purple pheno I had threw nanners.

Should make an interesting cross. Blue dream x peyote purple. Blurple....
