Very nice BT! Sorry for the lack of updates, lots of good stuff going on though. Working on getting the last batch trimmed and dried, so far looks like an awesome yield and awesome g/W but it will be about 10 days before I get final numbers.

The biggest ladies so far were DNA Stacked Kush at 89.7g and G13 Labs Sour Jack at 83.24g. But that doesnt really tell us much because they may have been hogging more than their fair share of the light. They were in 16L of soil but once it compacts down its about 14L per bucket.

This batch was all selected so it is a super stinker. The TH Seeds Darkstar yielded 67g of awesome smelling nugs, the Ace ended up 65g. The Stacked Kush and Sour jack smell incredible and very strong. Same goes for the OG18 incredible sour OG fuel smell and the Qleaner is just about to get trimmed (been hiding it in the corner for quite awhile while I try to get caught up.) That particular Qleaner is the stinkiest of 7 Qleaner ladies that were ran years ago and the smell is really something special, lemon cherry grape fuel with a touch of mustiness. Of course it is a skunk blast if someone opens a jar across the room or if you have a bag in your pocket.

Drivers are approximately 1amp for each cob and a single 12vdc for all the fans. No special layout just placed everything inside, it fit perfectly.
I'm still trying to figure out how you connected everything inside. I'm missing something. What is your power cord coming out of, the 12VDC? If so, do you know which one you used? I can't find one (other than a CPU PSU) that has a wall connector. Also, what are you connecting the drivers to inside to power them? Like I said, I'm missing a big piece of this here, but I want to use this design for some side lighting, and keep everything as clean as possible.

Did you use something like this?

with one of these?

I'm still at a loss as to how you're powering the drivers, though.

It looks like a junction box in the end of the rail? The power must seperate there somewhere? A power supply inside (as well as the LED drivers)?

@Tazbud you're on the right track...

@hockey wire harness, that is how everything is connected inside. The images are missing on your last post.

From the plug at the end of the rail I created a 120vac wire harness which powers in parallel the four drivers as well as the 12vdc power supply. Each driver then powering a cob and the single 12vdc ps powering the four fans in parallel.

That makes much more sense! The text "this" and "these" are product links. One was a 12V PSU with a molex connector, and the other was a splitter for the fans.

Finallly got all the numbers for most recent harvest, 1.17g/W. Average dissipation was 558.5W

TGA - Qleaner 69
TGA - Qush 18.9
TGA - Ace of Spades 64.7
Cali Connection - Buddha Tahoe OG 48.45
DNA - Stacked Kush 89.68
TH Seeds - Darkstar 67.2
Reserva Privada - OG18 56.9
HSO - Blue Dream 80.5
G13 Labs - Sour Jack 83.24
G13 Labs - Sour Jack 73.7

Very happy with the results but that is no surprise because most of this was a batch of selected ladies. The Qush was a stunted miserable creature , just some freebie buds from the outer edge. I have seen it perform very nicely when given a nice spot under the light.

This batch was the last of the Z4s and active cooled modules. Next batch will be all ABs and passive cooled (better spread).

Any standouts from those strains?

Just wondering..been eyeing strains again for the first time in a long time. Got some tangie and chocolope on the way from dna...crossing my fingers.

Tga looks good but so many to chose from I don't know where to start.

Nice haul! These cxas/veros are next level

The very best nugs were the Darkstar and Sour Jack. Phenomenal aromas, frosting and density and yield are all there. They get thumbs up from my friends although who knows if they are judging by flavor, potency or both, that can be subjective.

The blue dream smells very nice but lacking frosting and it started to develop a touch of white mold inside the biggest colas by 60 days. It was the only lady to have that problem. I have been cranking the dehumidifier to keep the RH ranging 55-65%. That was the last run for that cutting anyway. The OG18 (#4) and Ace of Spades (#2) also being retired. The both yielded great results but I can't keep them all :joint:

Falls right in line with what I just noticed. Friend gifted me a blue dream cut and some finished nugs. He had mold problems also..spotted some in one of the nugs even. Pretty good, not quite what I was expecting. Give it a try, same strain comes out different dependant on grower

Thanks, that's a huge help. I would never have guessed those as standouts

Thnx good info! Speaking of TH Seeds, the next batch is just finishing up and the Sage N Sour lady is impressing me so far. Looks like a big yield, no hermy and seems like it will be an awesome flavor. 2 more Sage N Sour fems beans to pop, seems like it might be worthwhile. Also ordered TH Seeds Dawgstar fems (Darkstar X Chemdawg)

Hey Supra, whats your thoughts on a good top bin 3070 for clones and veg? I am amazed at SDS doing 3000k from seed and having a little bush but it's a unknown auto so it may just be the strain he's running.

I have been using the 3000K @ 900mA for veg and clone, they like it more than the t5's and stretch is only slightly more than the Cree XM-L2 U2 4C. I do have to keep them farther away (12") compared to the t5/xml2 (2-3") or else the leaves curl up a bit. I would dim it down but I'm still using the fastech driver and haven't hooked up my HLN-60h-42b yet. I was thinking about getting a 4000K and 5000K to test.

I vegged half of my current run with the 3000k's. At first it was over everything...then just half as they got full size. But I really saw no difference in growth between the 3000K drone and the 6100k all white apaches.

Thanks guys,I was thinking 4000k at .7a and use them for veg only or stick with the 3000k and drive them at .7a and if I needed them for flower I could add them to another set up.

Good info. You could use the CXA3590 5000K top bin if you have stretchy ladies and you can run it with a $3 driver. It would only dissipate 20W at 60% efficiency so that is an expensive approach ($5/PAR W) and doesn't cover much surface area.

So if the 3000K is getting good reports, the 4000k should work very well. Top bin CXA3070 4000K (AD) is on the way to test out for vegging :)

I've had best results using a 2:1 ratio of 5000k:3000k during veg.

i have all the cobs mounted and i control it with toggle switches. If I happen to have small plant or seedlings I flip on the 5000k and some 3000k when they go into flower I flip the other switch that puts it at 4 3000k 3070s to 1 5000k 3070. I also have a small amt. Of red/blue supplement lighting but I really believe you can get amazing results with simply cxa3070 setup.
