ok so I guess I will post something to get some cool points. I was bored and wanted to make something to help my stupid ass cure a little better. This is not new but hey I did and I'm posting for those of you who would like to try....very cheap. I say about $20 if you don't have anything yet. Much cheaper if you do. Plus it may help get a good cure which is worth it

I got a case of jars from Walmart $8

Then I got a few hygrometer which were $1.35 each. http://www.ebay.com/itm/291321915704?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Then I use a a knife to cut the cut along with a pair of snips. You can use whatever you like but the snips and the safest to use and are quick....trace the outside of the hygrometer on the lid of the jars. When cutting cut on the outside of you line. Test fit. And if needed cut a bit more.

Ok now you have to seal the meters so you don't dry your buds and it can actually cure. I'm not sure if I needed to use a certain kind of caulking but I just grabbed cheapest kind the was in a squeeze tube. I used clear. Fill it around and use your finger to smooth it out and look clean. It cleans up with water if you do it right away

Seal front and back but only around the edges and let it sit out for a few days to dry...and also release any fumes. Don't want that shit in you buds...and you done. I would use one or 2 a harvest....if you did the same thing with all your jars at the same time the one hygrometer cure jar would give you a good indication where they all sit....

Maybe a hole saw or chassis punch.
or maybe sme sharp tin snips! Lol. Or drill lots of little holes all along yr lines then jus use a file to tidy it up its a really neat idea certainly help ensure a uniform result fr all yr product i like it!
Srry if this seems like a really dumb question but i hvnt hd ne xprience using hygrometer's & looks Like it'd help me create a better end product & thts always interesting to me lol
What is the humidity level u'd normally hve wn u stick bud into curing jar? & wts the level u'd hope 2 hve during the cure & what is it Ur wanting to get it to, end result?

There is a good thread on that on here somewhere. I don't like to keep it jarred if above 70% humidity. I like 65%.

You should honestly drop the whole hygrometer in to the jar Itself. Being in the lid may not give an accurate reading plus you save all that time cutying through lids, ouch. But anyways, I use haLf gallon jars and just dropped mine on on with em. Works great.
