Just buy a cloner. The king cloner on amazon. About same price as building your own without the constant headaches from constantly adjusting your cloner to prevent leaking.

You need a container with a lid that sits flushed inside the container and doesn't drape over the edges.. Which is damn near impossible to find.

I ended up adding a pvc valve on my pump to adjust the pressure or flow of water and that worked. Every time I clean . I have to adjust the pressure.

Listen to Hyroot. However, since you are already here, I use this putty tape all around the edges and replace it every time. Also do not run the cord out of the side. Run the cord through the top. These were built when it was worth it, but not now.

Btw the 360 sprayers arent as good as far as i have seen, the 180 are good if u angle them where they are shooting at a 45 angle. I have 3 different sprayers because i wasnt sure which would work best. Seems like the 180 on an angle would be good enough.

Here i tried the bubble cloner. It litterally cost nothing but a little time. Everything else on hand. Already have the air pump so not counting that. The roots i have saw from bubble method are better or as good as any aeroponic cloner. The bubbles are simply easier. Wait til the results are in before i make my decision. There are 48 sites and i shall take the best 36 for aeroflo2

I added the neoprene collars last night lol. This was a test and it is working very well but i have been making little tweeks here and there. I need to paint the outside of it black, algae will become and issue. I used rapid root plugs set in the net pots and kept the water level 1/4 below the pots. With neoprene discs you want to have the cuttings stem just under the water.

Ummm i thought with a bubble cloner it was the spray from bubbles popping that worked. I dont think your supposed to have the stem submerged in water.

I made a simple 8 site bubble cloner w humidity dome. Small, simple, neoprene collars hold cuttings, stems underwater, small air pump (2-6watts) and an air stone, water depth is only about 2" and whole thing holds about a liter of water. Change water once a week. Nothing but water, roots everytime anywhere from 5-14 days

I have 1 cutting that has been slower to root. I pulled it out if the root plug and put it in the disc with the stem about 1 inch in the water and now i have 3 root sites starting. So it seems to be working. I do have the stem right in the bubbles.

The problem for me with aerocloners is the water temp i guess. Since all the cuts didnt root at the same time i had some on the machine for 3 weeks and started to see brownish slime. With the water temp 75-78 what can i expect.
It is true now that rockwool is way easier, and the route ill be taking from here on out. So a little bit of money spent up front and be done with it.
