Well maybe her first husband died and she is a widow. Or maybe Mr. Smith had 4 daughters before he married Mrs. Smith and they had a son. What about adoption? And then there is the transgender possibilities to take into consideration.

Simple things are not so simple these days.
LOL!!!!! he drops the tranny option, that is comedy!

OR...Mr. Smith is a super pimp. He slays on the reg. He knocked up four chicks and they each had a girl. Later he seeded them all again and they delivered boys, providing a brother for each. Or they had boys with other dudes. Or, he impregnated said 4 chicks and they all had twins, boy and girl. Or he fucked octomoms sister and she had a litter of 4, but he moved on cuz she's psycho too. Later, she had a boy with a random from the nearby bar, and scores the brother. lol

I'm so lit

What if he had 5 daughters and one transitioned?
we could play the tranny game all day. he had 5 sons, and 4 were girls on the inside. or he had 1 girl and 4 boys, and they all felt they were born with the wrong parts between their legs.

i got a new one though! one of them is a hermie! so he only has 3 girls and 1 hermie, rofl!!

Update, shes been under the 3000k 4 cob light for about a month, but for a bit there she wasnt on a timer. The timers only been active for about 3 weeks. So id say shes probably around 2 weeks into flower, developmentally. Shes starting to make 3 leaflets again instead of the 1 she was stuck on for a while. Hoping shell fix herself back to 5 or 7 before flowers done.

The tangerine dream has been in the flower room for about 2 weeks and isnt showing sign of flower at all yet. Stretching a little but no pres popping and only a few hairs. But boy is she bushy. Tiny little plant but the canopy is so dense. Only need to get her a bit taller before i put the net on her.

looks like they're coming around, hopefully they'll start showing more flower this week. I'm running 3000k in flower too

Well i actually have another 4 cobs on the way, those are 4000k tho. Im going to mix them in with the 3000k (alternating 3 then 4) so each bar will hold 2 3000k and 2 4000k totalling 8 cobs all together in a ~5x5 room. 650w actuall, so im hoping to pull atleast a pound and a half per cycle (not per plant). I can fit 9 of the 10 gal pots in the flower room. But im thinking im only going to put maybe 5 or 6 in there since i want trees and not shrubs.

my cob plants were looking a bit off colour..i gave them 300ppm of calcium nitrate along with about the same of my normal ferts

they jumped rigtht back into the correct colour zone..

i am using 3500 k

cree3590's @around 50w

and nicha j 130b's at 34 w..

am pretty happy so far

the estoia 18x 2o w 3000k linear strip 360w panel i just got going..wow its pretty ok

Newest. Threw another little plant in the flower room. Shes a midnight fire og from seed. Topped it a couple weeks back. 5 weeks into veg and pushing her into the flower room. Tbh, i am just trying to free up some room in the veg closet, for the 10 gal pots. I know a 5 wk veg time wont yield me much but i gotta do it. So i can get my trees in later down the road and start phasing out the shrubs.

I just ordered up some aluminum tubing from online metals to upgrade my frames for the cobs. As they sit right now its kind of lobbed together just to get it going. But the tubing is going to be a more permanent framing. As well as hiding all the wiring to give it a cleaner look. I may end up painting it as well just to make it sweeter on the eyes. But the tubes are going to be 4 ft long, 5 in w, and 2 in tall. So im going to drill out 4 in holes on top and 3 in holes on bottom and have the heatsinks sit inside the tubes. May end up putting more cpu fans on the tubing for higher aic circulation but the heatsinks are active cooling as is so they will cool the cobs efficiently all on their own. As soon as they arrive ill drill em out and add some more pics.

Hey, I see you are using the HLG-320C-1400A drivers for the 1818 COBS. I'm thinking of using the same COBs. I'm wondering what you'd think of running them at a higher current, maybe 150 watts... On the website cobkits, where they sell these LEDs, it says...
"Best efficiency is seen below 150W with this chip. The 1818 is typically more efficient above 90W."
I'm wondering what you think of this? Safe to run them at 150 watts? Any disadvantages?

For many (most?) people, electricity cost is much higher than the investment in COBs. I pay 50 euro per year to power a 50W COB while the COB itself will cost a fraction of that.

If you calculate the electricity costs over a number of years and add the investment in the COB fixture for the possible wattages, you can calculate what would be the cheapest option.

So according to the same website as before (cobkits), the best efficiency on the 1818 is shown below 150watts. So I guess I'll run 4 of those for a total of 600 watts. What a cheap set up for what is seemingly equivalent to a 1000 watt HPS (possibly, and arguably).

4 1818 = $108
4 heatsink with fan= 64
power supplies = around $100.

For 300 dollars, a 600 watt LED grow light! What a deal!!

wietefras, COBS are definitely worth the investment. It is possibly the cheapest option, even with lower electricity costs, just because of the lum/watt, par watt, and lifespan (especially at lower wattages, heat).
