He's no Patrick Mahomes though. Nobody is. Mark my words, in 10 years people will say Patrick is the GOAT, not Brady.
Well, there's no guarantee that Mahomes reaches the same levels anywhere else. The entire situation dictates potential reached.
Mahomes in CHI may have been the same story as Trubisky.
The guy undoubtedly has incredible talent, but the league has a way of catching up to guys who blow apart the scene.

There we're 9ers fans saying the same about Kapernick a few years back.

I think all other NFL teams should get a 3-7 point handicap to give them a chance. Like some do in golf.
I really liked what I saw of Drew Lock last year those last 5 games. I love the kids attitude. He has the confidence like Mahomes, so I'm hopeful that we'll be competitors someday. I said Someday, lol.

For sure going to KC helps Patrick because Andy is brilliant and they have playmakers like Hill and Kelce.

Still though, we have a guy with amazing field awareness, double jointed flexibility, photographic memory, positive attitude, a cannon for an arm... pretty sure that Patrick would be great anywhere buy yeah, kinda hard to imagine if he went to someplace like Cleveland lol

I didn't know he was double jointed and had a photographic memory. Are you serious? That's probably why he was back after just a few weeks after his fucking knee was turned around. That was crazy shit. I can't believe he came back so fast from a dislocated knee. That guy is a monster.

I hear ya. So am I, but I hope he stays healthy because he's a fun competitor. But he seems kinda indestructible, so I see him kicking ass for awhile.
That was crazy, I though his career was in jeopardy after that knee injury. As much as he’ll hurt us it will be good to have some serious completion in the division again, we’ve been at the top for so long! Drew looked great in those games he played so I think were in for some good matchups in the years to come!

I know. I thought he was gonna at least be out for the season, and shit he was back in like 3 weeks. WTF.

Well... if you're a bears fan like me... you're used to getting shitty picks at qb.

I heard only Sean Payton also knew of Mahomes great talent and this was kept hidden away especially draft day.

Anyone could have looked at Patrick but who did? The ability to judge talent is why the patriots were a dynasty, someone wants big money after a great season, let them go and replace them with cheap youth. Now the Chiefs have Brett Veach and he can judge talent. The only way to create a dynasty in the NFL is to be able to consistently replace "stars" with young players that have talent but still fit in the cap room.

2021 will be interesting since they are reducing the cap #. Some players will either have to renegotiate a smaller contract or go to free agency where every team has that cap limitation.
