Dirt issue

I've been working on a soiless grow, and have run into a problem. It is now week 7 day 6 of veg and only 1 of my plants is having an issue. It is the tallest one of the bunch. I am using ProMix + 25% Perlite. i added it since it seems most people are still having issues with over watering with out the extra Perlite.

Things have been going great, 2-3 days between watering. One has been outgrowing the rest by 8 inches and now that it is bigger and the lights are getting higher, the lower parts of the grow room are not getting as much heat. What can i do to dry out the soil without killing this plant? it is now day 2.5 since it has been watered. leaves are drooping and twisted. the temp at the lower end of the room is the same as the external ambient temp. 70-75 all day long.

Try using a fan to circulate the air around the bottom of your grow, particularly at the soil level. I don't know anything about windburn but playing it on the safe side my fans no longer blow directly onto the soil, it is just kindof pointed at the wall and the air down there is still circulating nicely.
