I thoroughly research a substance before I put it into my body. As such I did a fair amount of research on dmt before I decided to try it. Its my understanding that like most psychedelic compounds, its generally safe as long as you use it in moderation and give your body chemistry time to normalize between uses.

Exogenous DMT compound extracted with various toxic chemicals is not the same in anyway to endogenous DMT.

Just something to keep in mind is all. If you do radical things, radical things tend to happen.

Just sayin'. I'm very interested in experimenting with DMT and DMT brews in the future, but I'm also very cautious at the same time.

As of January 2013, this question of whether DMT is produced in the brain does not have a simple yes or no answer. It has not yet been conclusively demonstrated that DMT is produced in the living human brain, but there are strong reasons to believe that it might be, as well as technical issues that make the theory difficult to verify.

A little bit of research can go a long way...

some lovers like to spank and hit each other and they like it..its pleasant or mild to them, while some may feel its violent and intrusive..while i not into spanking,i am into hardcore tripping, and i find it tripping like that is pleasant and enjoyable..my idea of "mild" concerning psychedelics would most probably be considered scary at the minimum for most people, and downright violent and awful by others...dmt has no way of being ugly in my mind..i feel it will always be pleasant, unless taken with reckless abandon(like smoking after a surgery or something that outlandishly foolish)..throwing 100mg in a bowl hasnt brought me anything BUT joy..if "doing it right" means being terrified and not enjoying it,then ill keep doing it wrong...
it is, I suppose a matter of semantics. A Sunny day in my garden is pleasant. I couldn't call the last Zappa concert I went to.. Pleasant just couldn't do the experience justice. I am not saying dmt has to be frightening (though that seems to be a common reaction ), simply that the word is sort of an understatement, or should be.

Its the only way I could think to word the experience I had. I didn't smoke enough to get past the threshold unfortunately. The experience I had was not negative in any way and was enjoyable, so 'pleasant' just seemed to fit.

My wife is scratching my back as we lay in bed after a small line of oxycodone. It is quite pleasant. I am glad you enjoyed your experience, I hope you will break through sooner than later.
