differences between LST and ScrOG?

Please forgive me but I am trying to figure out which method would be better for me. I understand the basics of both methods, which one is easier for a noob and has the greatest yield?

I'm going to have a separate veg cabinet and take clones of my first batch of seeds. Can I clone from these methods or will I need to grow out my first batch just regular than try the LST or ScrOG?

I'll be using a 3x3x6 flowering tent with a 400 horticulture HPS light and lumatek digital ballast with supplemental co2.

ScrOG is a form of LST. LST is generally training without a screen.

Does one method provide greater yields? It seems that the scrog would be a bit easier. Has anyone tried both and have a preference?

as mentioned, scrog is basically lst. i've done both, and as far as i know, there is no better method to maximize yield, than scrogging. you won't get the big cola's, but you'll get a shit load of little ones. you should yield much more than conventional growing, and scrogging is fairly easy. do a search for greenmonster's scrog guide. it's a sticky at a lot of sites.
