Well if you can/want to dig a big hole(s) in the ground you could ammend the soil, make super soil, use some manure, compost, whatever. If you use a container just make sure its big. Smartpots, plastic bags, plastic pots, or even burlap works well. I used 20 gal. in the past.Wow, those outdoor pics you gents posted look just beautiful! I've got a 2 acre yard, yet I just didn't feel safe doing it.
Boy, next year I'll put, at least, a few outside! They just look like they grow like monsters! 1 lb/plant WOW, just freakin' WOW!
Oh well, this was my first legal year and I'm still "just gettin' my feet wet", but I read a lot and I am beginning to understand this plant and her needs.
How would I go about planting one outside? What do you generally use for a pot, or do you just stick it in the dirt in your areas?
