Did I get ripped off?

I got a bundle of seeds from a website, many different strains.

When I look up these strains, they look nothing like the ones I have.

This is my Blue Dream - which is supposed to be sativa dominant, but the leaves aren't thin

And this is my Skywalker OG, looks exactly the same!

some seedd banks are good and some are not so good. Where did you get them and did they come in the original packaging?

Keep in mind strains that havent been bred to secure traits can sway more sativa or indica. I can see that bluedream seems more indica then the skywalker but otherwise i can't put anymore info

It looks like a huge difference though from what I see on google. Does that mean it's not Blue Dream anymore? I have 3 of them and they all look the same, so it's not a single mistake or anything

Who is the breeder of the strains you bought?

I'm running a HSO Blue Dream on this run and she look alot like your example. I think that it's practically impossible to identify a strain conclusively until it's done without a DNA test .

Thats not a breeder.
Who is the breeder? Blue Dream by who?

For best consistent results its best to use the breeder who was responsible for the strain in the first place. Not a copy cat. Not always the case but a good guidline.

All breeders have their own VERSIONS of blue dream ....
Some are Blueberry / Super Siver haze crosses , some are something else.

Plus the fact it is known that certain phenos will express ( sometimes differently ) even from same batch. To me ALL seeds are untested ..... So they are what they are.

Plus my Humboldts start exactly the same as those , then the more Sativa traits show during stretch and flower.

^Thank you. I've seen strains where 5 seeds from the same breeder, of the same strain, and you can get 2 indica leaning phenos and two sativa leaning phenos and one in the middle.
Sometimes you'll find a nice breeder, where the strain description fits to a 'T', and all the beans produce an identical pheno... That's always nice.

OP, it could grow out to be a sativa-dominat hybrid... you never know?

Can not really say you got ripped off. You have two healthy looking plants there. First and second picture look like they could use a little extra Cal-Mag, but other than that, they look good!

Just been chopping my HSO blue dreams the last few days.
5 beans, 5 pheno, 4 of which where heavy indica leaning and one which was sativa. Non of them looked the same. Thankfully they all produced some chunky shit, although one of them was a bit ropey in the depths.
Not too worried, the weight and density is there. I bought a mate 10 beans for his birthday and will be keeping a close eye on them to chose a winner or two to run.

Exactly my concern, yours is clearly sativa dominant!
She looks lovely by the way
The website clearly states sativa dominant as well

It's the luck of the draw. Just part of the game mate....Pheno Hunting, Gotta Catch 'Em ALL! ;)

From your link, if you look at the lineage, your beans are a cross of "Blueberry Indica X Super Silver X Haze". I'm not to sure what blueberry Indica is, but your pheno's are definitely leaning towards that.

Even in his video it looks different :-x

The whole reason I got seeds was to make sure I know exactly what I'm smoking. Now it's not so sure again :/

What are phenos?
