image.jpg Ok here is the one I'm worried about...hoping a more experienced grower could offer some advice...
This purple trainwreck in week 9 & was started in bloom the same day as the SLH and Afgooey in the previous post but obviously not as developed. All the fans are now yellowed AF and she's very hungry. Wasn't planning on doing anything but giving her straight water until harvesting but I can see she's gonna need at least a few more weeks; should I give her a tea or something to help get her green back or should I not worry about it and just harvest in a few more weeks as planned?

Well I'm definitely not more experienced in total but have had a similar situation. Whereby in my case the plants were not only yellowing prematurely but dropping their leaves too. I did try turning them round (with a good compost tea), which stopped the "self-defoliation" but it was too late to make a difference in yields. Based on that, my gut feeling says if you're happy with the amount of buds as they are you could just let her go, otherwise yeah feed the soil now before she starts dropping them...
just my humble 2c though! :bigjoint:

The buds are about the same size as in previous runs...been running this PTW cut for awhile now. It's just going so yellow compared to the other plants started at the same time. I think I skipped the high N layer I usually add when I build my final size pots for this plant; ran outta chicken shit lol. I'm happy with the yield but it's average; nothing to get excited about. She hasn't started dropping fans yet but that's gonna be soon. Thinkin I'm gonna do nothing but water her & just pick the bud when it is ripe...hopefully in a few more weeks, thanks for the advice cal

Yeah that would explain why she's the only one doing this :)
So actually, she's the brave warrior of the lot, putting out average on less than the others haha
Cheers!

Thanks Joe; you rock...here's my cherry bomb plant in week 3 I think; she smells like frikkin cherries; very fruity & this is the first one I vegged at 18/6, then 17:7 for a week then 16/8 for another week & then into the bloom room she went...nice stacked nodes make dense spires of pretty bud; can't wait to see how she looks in a few weeks

sweet setup you have going on man im liking it! u should try feeding your girls all this diff types of teas man, theres all kinds of them. teas are very crucial to brigning your soil alive and providing all those goodies your plants crave to reach their potential. you dont need them but it makes things that much better i promise! you can make your own fermentations and imos also to make those teas even more powerful. :fire:

My cherry bomb is about 3-4 weeks old. What's the aroma like? I want my bloom room to smell like a candy store in about a month or so when I put it, my Panama and my bubblegum ladies into bloom.

Very fruity smell; not skunky at all. Most of my other strains in the bloom room have a skunky or roadkill smell but CB smells like cherries

You are right I should be giving teas more often than I do. I'm gonna give my purple trainwreck and the rest of the plants in flower except the Afgooey and super lemon haze which are just about finished a nice EWC, kelp meal, and guano AACT because she's not gonna be ready at week 10 as expected. Maybe 3 more weeks...
Afgooey is mostly cloudy trichs with a couple ambers dotted few & far between. I wish I could wait another week to ripen her more but I'm outta weed & the ol lady is already bitching.

Thanks man, I just spilled my coffee laughing :D

That Afgooey is loaded, and looks done enough on the pix too - the fresh flowers look like foxtails?
So she was probably asking for it anyway :bigjoint:
Well the Afgooey is now in jars & it is not only tasty but uber potent. I almost stopped for visine on the way to work cuz my eyes were so hazed out red and squinty; straight fire; maybe shouldn't have dumped that pile of kief on top....
If you think the Afgooey was foxtailed check out the super lemon haze; she's got some Amber trichs showing now in week 11. Thinking of chopping her soon like tonight or tomorrow yet there are still some white pistils so might wait till after the weekend. As you can see the bud is so heavy had to tie her to a pole; these buds are the size of potatoes!!!
