Diatomaceous earth works great. It's cheap. all natural, and you don't have to apply it as often as any other product like the oils.

What happens: when bugs crawl on this stuff they get cut up by it and dry out and die. Pretty cool :) The Diatomaceous Earth sucks all the water from there bodies after it cuts them up.
You can even put some in your soil, any thing that's crawling around like fungus gnat larva, they get all cut up, and die a painful and horrible death ( I hope, I hate bugs)

There are some dangers in using this stuff. You need to wear eye protection, a dust mask, gloves, and no exposed skin. the Diatomaceous earth is a fine powder it gets every were. Apply in a well vented area.

I used a vacum, and a custom made duster made from a plastic pop bottle. It worked but was very messy.

If you do buy Diatomaceous earth do some research there are a few kinds fresh water and salt water Diatomaceous earth the fresh water is the better of the two. also there is food grade and non-food grade Diatomaceous earth ( yes people take this stuff to clean them out) some of the Diatomaceous earth has a lot of clay in it you want to stay away from this type.

Your local Grow/Garden store might have a bag in-stock.

All i can say is I am happy with it. My Grow Room is a death zone for any bugs.
