I appreciate the offer but I think a 400 will push the elec bill up past where I can justify it to her. The most recent bill was over double the last month because I was vegging with the 1K. I wish I'd been able to come and pick that up from you a while back. I would have vegged with it instead and saved a few bucks. I'm sure my plants wouldn't be as big but it would have saved me a substantial amount of money.

I need something like a 4 bulb t8 light or a t5 maybe, if I can swing it. I just want something with a decent spread and in the 200-250 watt range for now.

Only 2 4' HOT-5s cover my clone/seedling table very well.

That is 108W IIRC. Four of these would rock. ~216 W

Good luck,

JD

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. A four tube t8 or HO t5 should work very well for my needs

I gave the girls their first shot of flower nutes last night since they are starting to show flowers. I won't see them again until Sunday night and I'm expecting to see some substantial growth when I get back.

Looking good. Buds are already setting too! Probably could have vegged longer to use the whole height? running a 1000w for veg is not wallet/wife friendly either though.

I am building my own led fixtures. we will see how it goes. IF it works out I will let you know. :-) I am hoping to cut power use by half.

I think they're still going to stretch and fill in the screen a bit more. The Hericheese typically just over doubles in size so I think they've still got a ways to go. I think they'll end up with the top buds being nearly five feet from the floor I don't know about the Peacocks but was figuring about the same. The Lambsbread (on the floor) nearly tripled in height at my buddy's place so I think the main buds from them will be right up near the light by the time they finish stretch.

I want to put shelves in there and run smaller plants so I can have a shorter veg. I was thinking of trying to do it in the middle of this run but now I think it will have to wait until I clear it out. We'll see, I guess, how it plays out.

Always takes time to dial in the space. I am hoping LED works out. Some the GpW #'s from white led DIY grows have been phenomenal. I personally have never seen 1gpw with hps. maybe .75 max ever. These white LED grows seem to be hitting 1gpw fairly easy. I have 330w in the tent when I am done. I would LOVE 1gpw in there. That would be half the power and same yield as the cabinet.... I am so wanting the power bill lower... I think you know what I mean... LOL

I do know what you mean. I'm in the same boat but my space demands a lot of light to effectively use it so I'm be stuck with the higher bills for now. I'd like to run 2 600s and have shelves but that will push the bill even higher.

I think I have a couple of hermie plants. Two Peacocks are showing female flowers but look like they're also producing balls. I hate to scrap good sized, healthy plants and haven't done so in a long time but worry the balls will return if I pick them off. I don't want another room full of seeded buds. Especially this run since it should be my best in some time.

I did that just this morning Dez....pulled my Chemgerine right out
of the tent, and killed all clones.

It was not nanner popping out of the buds, but genuine balls, and
not in the buds either....it was like a real hermi.

Good luck,

JD

Many true OGs will get a few stem balls from seed and then all of the clones will be fine. You can pick off the balls and just watch for any more.

I've picked them off before too. there were just too many places so I cut them down. I'll just replace them in a couple of weeks with some clones I've got vegging. That will give me a good harvest in six weeks and then a decent one four weeks later. The Lambsbread will finish sometime in between because it will go nine to ten weeks.

There's not as much empty space as I'd hoped for after finding the herm plants and pulling them. The Lambsbread apparently really are all fem seeds because all of these are female and all of the others that we've grown out were female too.

I was hoping to have room for three to four of the clones but there just isn't that much to be had. I can get two to three on the floor but don't know how well they'll do there. I may have to just keep vegging them until the Hericheese and Peacock and replace them with these. They'll definitely be big enough, lol.

I put down 5 Sour Cherry and five Fireballs yesterday too which are supposed to fill the second half of the room next run. They've got lots of time to veg so I should be able to get them big enough to be nice plants.
