I have so much bud in the rack it is staying wet! I had to open some windows to let it dry a bit faster!

That's a nice problem to have.

I will be working in my buddy's place later today. Going to put the plants in the 3 gal pots I picked up yesterday and will try to get the hood and filter hung. I went shopping for him since he was working and I was not yesterday, picking up the pots, soil, perlite and drip trays. He's got a 4x4 flower space we set up using the R-Tech insulation panels, some wood and foil tape. We just need to mount some 2x4s to the ceiling to hang things from.

I ordered a new bulb this morning for the 1K ballast I have. Hopefully it will come in time for buddy's grow. Otherwise, he's going to keep wanting my 600 and I don't want to give it up, lol. MY ballast is MH so I ordered a HPS conversion bulb. It's HPS but will work on the MH ballast and is supposed to have an enhanced spectral output for plants. It really think it will be better for his room than a 600. Besides, it's a new bulb versus a used one.

I got most everything done yesterday at my buddy's place. Potted up the plants, hung the filter and hood and finished running the exhaust. I still need to take the good fan over there and swap it out for the one we've got hooked up now. It's just an inline booster fan that's running right now and I sold him my good fan but I didn't have time to take mine down and run it over there.
Here's some pics of his setup now:

I'm now designing in my head the next round which will be a vertical grow. I'm thinking I'll use the welded wire mesh I have to make a curved screen that's 48" in diameter with a section open to get in and out of. Since it will most likely be in use during the summer months I think I'll run my cooltube in hopes of not needing the AC to be turned on. Temps are typically fine in there as long as I use one of the two. Funds are an issue right now so I'll try and keep the electric bill down by not using AC. I would like to run an open bulb but don't think I can get away with it without the AC.

Run the tubes man. AC eats electricity and money like nobodies business. Make sure you arent too far from the tubes and you will get better light penetrations. 2' from light sources all the way around is pretty good IMO. Its tough growing in the summer. I am thinking after my tent finishes I will just do a few late outdoor plants and come back in force for a fall grow. :-)

.... of course I may just turn my 600 down to 250 with the cool tube and do a smallish run in the cabinet. :-) Never know with me... LOL

I have used the tube I have now a few times before and for a bit I had two 600s in this single tube. I need to try and find pics but I don't think I have any of it anymore. I'm sure I took them from my phone and have lost all pics that were on my old phone when it broke. I just added another bulb socket on the other end of the tube and they poiinted at each other. I ran a HPS in one end and a MH conversion bulb in the other end. That worked really good and I'd run it again if I had two 600s to work with.

This one will be a single 1000w HPS grow, I think. That's what I have right now to work with but may be swapping it for my old 600 ballast and bulb. Which is running with a MH Conversion bulb in it over at my buddy's place to veg his plants. That's whats running in the pics above.

I told him I'd like to see the plants veg at least another week now that they're under the bigger light and in the bigger pots. I figure it might take a week to recover from the deficiency anyway. I'll get to check in on them this afternoon and I will see if there's enough new growth yet to determine if we got it handled or not.

Well, work is keeping me busy...I leave with you in the middle of a jungle,
only to come back with you having harvested.

I have had plants forcing me toward harvesting by all the falling over. I took
something out to give it a look once, and ended up harvesting it, as it was way
too floppy to get back into the tent.

Enjoy the results!

P.S. I appreciated that JB look Mo. Yours really turned color nicely.
Mine did too. I like that about JB.

@Javadog - That is a beautiful looking plant! Happy to hear you are busy too. I had not been busy enough for a few weeks and then this week everything broke loose at the same time and now I'm having scheduling issues, lol.

Dez,

I like the herri cheese. Pretty tasty! :-) Your vert setup is looking good. Hope you score some cuts.

Take care. :-)

I got some stuff organized and found a spot for the 3x3 tray. I've got my screen installed and the room is ready for plants. I need to figure out how I'm going to veg and then get some plants going. I have a light being offered to me to use but I don't think it will work for me. I'd like to have a 400 or 600 watt HPS so I can veg the plants into the screen by sticking the HPS bulb in my cooltube. I am just a little worried about my elec bill if I veg with the 1000 watt. It will cost me about $150/mo just to run the light for 18 hours/day. I've got a couple hundred watts in fans on top of that.IMAG0953.jpg

I've got seeds and cuts in plugs and one cutting has already shown roots. I'm hoping by this weekend to have everything in veg under my old light at my buddy's place. I'm now in the market for a new veg light on the off chance I get to turn this into a perpetual grow. I have two t8 fixtures I can use but they are currently in use for something else and the wife won't be too happy if I take one of them down. It's being used by the washer and dryer at the moment and she likes having it there.

OMG that is a huge room! What strains are you going to be running?

You should see the giant bruise I got from my fall bongsmilie
Thanks again for all of the help!

It's a 5'x5' room with a 7' ceiling. I've got some clones of the Hericheese, seeds of Peacock and seeds of Lambsbread going so far. If I can swing the perpetual deal, I'll start some more seeds in a couple of weeks. I'd like to run some of your stuff too if you're still willing to part with any clones. I should have taken you up while I was there but I still didn't know where I could veg them for sure. My buddy says I can veg at his place until I get a veg light hung of my own.

Your fall sounded like you hit that container pretty hard and it looked like it hurt so I'm not surprised you have a bruise. I'm just glad it wasn't worse.

It is very strong. It gives a nice buzzing type of high. Makes the whole body buzz when you take a few consecutive big ass bong rips. My buddy and I were tripping on that when we first sampled it.
I ground up the last of my Lambsbread last night after digging out the last few seeds. It got hit by another Jamaican plant that hermied a couple of rounds ago and got seeded pretty good. I didn't keep as many seeds as I should have but I have a few dozen.
