Ok i got two devils harvest strawberry sour diesel seeds. Started both thinking i will keep the nicer of the two. Happy healthy female plants but 1-2 weeks after its starts flowering it grew balls. Ran the phenos twice and balls at the same time, and i mean all over the plants one pheno i couldnt find any buds that didnt grow balls. Ran with other strains and had zero issues so its not environmental. I checked everything a dozen times cause strawberry sour diesel is one of my favs.

Anyone have this issue? Bad luck or is this common for this strain?

I have one that I"m about to flip to flower. It was a reg seed and I'm pretty sure it's a female. I put this plant through hell and it's only 1.5 foot after a 6 month veg. overwatering, fungus gnats, bad PH. I'm a noob on my second grow. She's finally starting to get big and growing into her pot. Hopefully she doesn't get too stretchy. I'm trying to clone her cause she's a fighter.

I killed at least 15 plants b/c of overwatering and a bad PH. she is still kicking. will report back soon. I planted 4 of these maybe? This was the only one to come up

I would make sure shes good and healthy before you flip her. You can stress them out bad enough in veg that when you flip them they will herm right off the bat. I'd make sure she has atleast 4-7 days of good healthy growth before flipping. Closer to the 7 days.

I ran this strain again and found that i can prevent like 90% of the hermi sites by trimming anything thats not directly in the light. If the bud site was even a tiny bit shadowed it will hermi. I wouldnt run them again but the smoke was nice.
Make sure she is at 100 before flower or i bet you will have some seedy bud.

Strawberry cough hybrids seems to do this a lot. My strawberry daiquiri from tga has the same issues, only a handful of plants out of about 30 females didnt herm from light exposure.

I flipped to flower today. They were healthy for the past week or so...until...I tried to do some LST last night and broke some of the branches. LOL...I was able to tie them so they're straight up...Should I go ahead and clean up the lower branches or is it too late since I flipped them? Thanks for the help. I'm only on my second grow. @stoned-monkey @whytewidow @Shua1991

So I took this one at 56 days of 11/13. I beat the hell out of this plant and I didn't see any nanners. I don't ever think it had a good root system. I think I was overwatering and underfeeding. The yield is going to be tiny. Towards the mid-end of flower I accidently left the light on for about 1.5 days too. I flipped it back to 11/13 once I figured it out. I still have more seeds so I will definitely pop those in a round or two. These were regs and not reversed.

See below for pics. I should note the first pic is the day after I got back from being in Vegas for 4 days. I removed the leaves right after the pic. I traveled a lot during harvest so they didn't get a lot of h20 for some periods.

On the last one you can see the broken branch.

Here is a pic of the dried buds.

I took her 56 days of 11/13. Didn't yield well as I had thrips and never got a good root system. Also, I flowered while it was short as I thought it was gonna stretch a ton.
Mine yielded like a mofo, try running it again, sans thrips.

Watering with spinosad will kill thrips and is pretty much totally safe, even in flower. You would have to willfully drink it for it to be dangerous, even then, meh, I would take a swig. I knew a dog that drank a bunch of it, she lived a long damn time after.

Spinosad is rad.

I still have 8 seeds so will def be in there again. I beat her up pretty bad and those thrips sucked. I also overwatered, broke a bunch of branches and flowered while it small. I can see that it could yield. Ah, I used the monterey garden spray and they were gone in like 2 weeks.

Cool cool, that’s the brand I use too.

I wish I had more of those beans, great smoke. The only strawberry terps (like Strawberry Quik and diesel) I have tasted, except in the original Strawberry Cough.
