That is a stupid reason..go Lions, maybe the curse is finally gone since the old Ford man died..be a riot if now they win the super bowl. Yeah they got much work to do to go that far but who knows

What happen...why take no chances, going for that field goal at the end of the first half was so dumb. Don't let chances pass U by, I always say. Lions won last week cause they took chances, they faked 2 punts and won the game. This week they played safe and lost....yeah the refs were against them, calling every penalty that they could had and spotting the ball 2 feet inside where it should had been placed.

Hey , whats with the DEA raiding the team doctors after the games...wonder what the DEA were looking for..maybe thats for another thread.

They stunk it up in Arizona but there's a reason Arizona is 9-1. If not for 2 Drew Stanton interceptions, they weren't even in it. Their next game is at the New England Patriots, who are probably the best team in the NFL, so I don't see them winning that game either. They'll need to have a wayyy better offense to be competitive against the best teams and at this point I don't see them winning the division against the Packers.

We will see, I think the lions could had won if they played a bit different..and did not get hit with as many penalties..interceptions are part of the game..so is taking a chance and going for it on 4th downs

Old Lions thread was locked for no reason and Lions didn't even fucking try to win that game.
If that isn't some same ol shit, then I wouldn't know it.
Why bother with either? lmao.
I should get a packers jersey and switch to icmag. roflmao.
Oh well, that didn't stop us from buying turkey day tickets off stub hub
If they let Cutler look like fucking peyton manning though, I swear.......

Lions look awful yesterday, like they can't win anymore games....what happen ?
They played the best team in the AFC on the road. I assumed they would lose but their offense looked worse than it did in Arizona. The good news is that their next 3 games are at home against teams with losing records. They finish the season in Chicago and then Green Bay so if they lose any of the next 3 their playoff chances are slim to none. I haven't completely given up hope yet but they did not look like a playoff team yesterday.

How is it possible to have Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, Reggie Bush, 2 first round tight ends, a quarter back taken first over all..... and look like a high school offense out there? Is it the offensive line? The offensive coordinator?

What a fucking frustrating team to watch!

The offensive line is the bad. They can't run the ball or protect the quarterback long enough for him to get to his second and third options. They lost their starting LT on the first drive. There were also a lot of drops yesterday. Fauria had a TD pass bounce off his palms, Fuller dropped a deep pass in the end zone, Ebron had a huge drop.

Their offense hasn't scored a TD in 2 1/2 games lol. Pretty rough.

I think its a combination of being limited at RB, not having a viable WR3 option, depleted OL, MISTAKES and the offensive scheme. Wasn't there basically 3 dropped TD passes in that game? I'd like to see the offense adapt to the weekly opponent like we've seen from the last two teams we've played. With Ebron and Fauria both dropping passes, don't you think its time Pettigrew gets some work in the passing game? Chicago is dead last at defending the TE, so we should expect a big game from someone on Thursday.

Offense is too predictable. When Pettigrew is in the game its a run, when Riddick is in the game its usually a pass. I really like Bell, but this team is seriously missing a healthy Reggie Bush. I hope he comes back healthy and ready for a run this week.

Major problems for sure, and even if this team makes the playoffs, its not going far unless the offense gets rolling. They really don't have to do much more than score 20 points per week and move the chains enough to compete for the possession battle. The defense is fun to watch.

They pay the lions to play like shit. Think about it we go to war who's the super bowl champs? the patriots. Hurricane sandy hits who's the champs? the saints. away games are always harder because of the jetlag and settling in they have to do the day before. And what happened to this guy we cut him for david acers?

He doesn't play football. That's what happened to Harvard Rugland.

The only surprising thing here is folks having hope that the lions won't suck anymore.
But they don't suck, so I guess I missed your point :p
