DELAYED FLOWERING??? why?

I have a Hindu Kush that preflowered on 02-18 and was flowered on 02-26.

As of now (04-08) it is almost 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall. She was topped in veg, with 8 pairs of branches, each with about 12-14 sites at this time. Still growing with no deficiencies, in a five gallon bucket.

The only growth I have seen is in branch height and new sites. The preflowers get bigger and their pistils get thicker and longer. But... No buds!!!! Lots of new stem, leaf, and preflower. NO BUDS!!! Now it has been almost 6 weeks and it's almost looking like that new Dr. Grinspoon strain. (single pairs of calyx's up the stem)

Am I gonna get a good yield eventually, or bail?

I am using or have applied, the AN Iguana Bloom, Big Bud, a splash of Micro now and again. Piranha and Tarantula. Org. B, Carboload, and Nirvana with R/O and tap water (alternating).

I can send pics (Micro and Macro) if needed. This is my first time with a land race, so maybe that is all it is???

Oh yeah, under 420 actual watts of both 2700 and 4100 CFL's. 2-4 inches from canopy.

Hoping I'll get a blast of thickness and growth soon, but it's been almost 6 full weeks. I have other plants(unknown) that were flowered on 03-03 that are almost done....

has she crowned herself yet? are the nodes alternating? get a few pictures of just the very tops from both the top and the side, will help to identify exactly where she's at in transition. also, how many hours day/night during veg and in flower? When you first topped her how many nodes was she up? Seems really odd though.

Just so I know, you do have the lights hooked to a timer set to a 12/12 photoperiod, right?

If so, do you have another room somewhere near by that may be spilling light into the room? When the lights are off, they have to be completely off with no interruption. A good way to test this is to turn on every light in the house, turn off your lights in your room, close the room up with you inside of it, and look for any residual light coming into your room. if you find that you've been messing with the photoperiod, you can either re-veg and flower again in a few weeks, or just fix the problem and see if it will take off.

If light cycle isn't the issue, than I'd get a more intense light.

Good luck, brah!

She vegged for 6 weeks from seed for 24 hours/day and flowered of course, 12/12... It may have been from an LED on my power strip but she is the only one with a delay, and I move them all around in the room so not sure if that is it.

batteries are dead in the cam... But good news - She is finally starting to crown! I gave her a good dose of BigBud last night. I'll get some batteries soon.

If that's where you normally keep your lights, i can tell you right now that you don't have anywhere near enough intensity. If you can't get your hands on an HPS, you should add as many CFLs as possible, and keep them close as possible without burning the plant. You won't believe the difference light can make on your buds, and I can't stress that enough. :)

All others are fine except this HK. So I'm not sure it is light intesity. I recently picked up a 400W MH with an Agrosun (3000K) bulb. Once that gets here, we'll see if she takes off or not. It has been almost, if not already, 8 weeks of flowering but there are barely any hairs that have started to turn red. I am hoping that she will bulk up before she finishes.

I was think the same exact thing..Light leaks, or timer functions etc..

All it takes is something as small as a pinhole light leak, or entering the grow room during the dark hours to mess it all up.

When its dark, it needs to be 100% DARK!

Also, if you dont have proper lighting, you wont get shit back in return.

I would go with lighting too. Get an HPS light for flower. but a metal halide will do a lot better than cfl's.

just had a revelation. Your Hindu Kush is a Stativa. See how thin you leaves are, you are going to see a longer flower cycle with it. Somewhere more like 10 to 12 weeks. maybe even more with cfl and MH. Read up on what stativas are like, i have even heard of using a 11/13 photo period on stativas

Well everyone... Tons of news -

1. I added a 400W MH with a sun agro bulb (3000k, 40,000L) about 2 weeks ago!!! : )
So far, this girl hasn't done really anything. I can see some trichs forming on the calyx's and I guess she is filling in a tiny bit more, but that's it.

2. I actually started noticing that a few of the calyx were getting really, really large, so... I plucked one off and out popped a SEED!!! Fully formed and everything! One of the bag seed girls must have grown nuts because of the low light from the CFLs... I am almost positive this was the reason why the HK was so delayed to flower fully. I hope now that the pollenated bracts have been removed, it will start to bloom more/again. Any ideas with that???

About 10% or so of the pistils are turning red but, there are more new white pistils growing than there are old ones turning red. I really hope I can get her to fill out. We are at week 12 of flowering for this Hindu Kush...

Pics to come later tonight.
