Yes i will when i get all the lights in it. gonna be 2 weeks or so. Mo over at rid's site he is using pure fluorescent lights and the frost is insane with these bulbs in the mix. I will grow auto's under them in AIS when i can use my closet for it. I have to wait a bit for the flower room to finish which i just flipped so 8 weeks max. That light hopefully will grow auto's sooner. I do have a veg tent now so i can move the smaller ones. Just have to wait for money to order the other bulbs.

ill tell this story youre a bike fella , my ole man totaled his 2014 soft tail . he said the throttle stuck wile passing a car . had 2 riders in front of him so had 2 choices take out the guys in front or try the middle grass median . he took the median at about 60mph the story goes but lost it when he hit a bit of a rise on un even ground . 3 broke fingers on left hand 2 broke toes on left foot dislocated thumb and torn ligiments on righr hand 3 broke ribbs bruised lung small tear in his liver and a knot on his head .
i had to laugh at him when he tried to wipe his nose with 1 finger on each hand he could use lol . in for a 3-4 day stay at vanderbuilt medical

i had to get a new battery for my ir thermometer so i can see what temp the light are running at. So tonight at 7:50 pm they come on and i will give them 30 minutes to warm up then i will check them so i should ahve said 8:15 pm or so. I will know ho wmuch heat they put out.

Oh yeah my bulbs willl be here friday well the ATI ones. i have to order 4100k/2700k so when i hang this big light its ready just flip switches on when i need them.

All here is what i found about heat and lights i have on right now.
I did a ir Thermometer test on my lights. Holly shit all.
on the 600 and 400 hid lights this was my results
6 inch away 380F-460F
12 inch away 240F-315F
2 feet away 155F-285F
now that is aiming it at the light
when i point it at the reflector i get 83-90F on the sides and 95F-115F on the top. So that tells me the isntant heat is insane. now the cfl is 150F to 170F at 12 inch. the t8 is at 90F at 2 inch. now this is a decent ir thermometer. we use it to check outboard engine head temps.

Red-hot and white-hot metal gets pretty hot! That is why leds are so much cooler.

On the real though I knew that hids burn/illuminate at around 900 F but didnt know it was that hot on just the surface of the bulb. Thanks for taking the time to get those readings dc, learn something new every day

It blew me away with the temps. I had no idea. I will need to either get new refletors that are sealed for 6 inch cooling or replace them. i am tired of running ac 18 hrs a day. Waste of energy in my book. I cant wait to scan the led and t5 light fixture i have in 3-4 weeks when they are hung and are on. I will have to wait and in the winter i will love hid's as i can take the heat and blow under my house to help heat it. so then it rocks. but that is only 6 months the other times i need a light that rund around 100f or so so i can cool it with fans/ air exchange. I am newer to indoor growing so I know i screwed up with the lights several times already. thank god i make good money in summer so it wont be a big issue to replace them if i need too in spring. till then i have the lights over 2000 watts well closer to 2600 watts total right now that will all be running in 2-4 weeks.

Here it is ready to be hung 645 watts of the best spectrum mix 1 can ask for. I still need 2700k 54 watt t5 ho's to replace the 6500k's.

I want to use the special bulbs especially since the Blue is 460nm and hits perfect at photosynthesis. I am gona use this light in the flower for now and move the 600 over 1.5 feet till the plants finish then ill redo it. Makes more since to get the big girls to grow the best buds they can. especially since i am out of buds except personal and 16 grams of hash. I will just make it to mid november.

okay here is the flower room now 21 inches till the tall plants hit the 600 super hps and 400 cmh at max height. Also here is the new light over the 11 smaller plants.



now i have 1648 watts running in that room.

I think i am 1 week from lollipop the big 6 plants, I want just the top 2 feet to produce buds. The smaller 11 they can do whatever. They are a test to see what diff size pots will do and to see what the new light will do for them.

okay i am not gonna touch 3 of the plants jsut the 3 that are far away from the t5 light. i looked and seen it was hitting into the 3 plants hard . so 3 of them are getting side light from the t5 setup and a super 600 hps(95000 lumen) cmh 400 (41000Lumen) and the side light of the t5 wow is all i can say. I put on my shades and go into the room and i see colors hitting all over, that t5 is gonna be huge. The penetration is unreal for fluorescent lights. This will be a great grow for me. I have all c99 in this grow so its pot size/and where in the lights they are.

Oh yeah the plants under the new t5 are growing like mad. all c99;s in the room has flowers starting now day 12 from flip
