Day 68 - Could I harvest in 4 days?

To keep to my original schedule I would have to harvest in 4-5 days. If I wait later I will run out of time to dry before I have to go on vacation. I am starting to see some amber trichs. Would I be able to harvest this weekend?

Imo, and they will not be ready in that time. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. How long are you gone? What were your temps?

If it was me, I would harvest in 2 weeks.

Well, you have to harvest them. Unless a capable grower is staying behind to tend to them there isnt really a choice. Friends or roommates usually dont do well looking after other peoples grows and even with a fail proof automated system its not good to leave a grow unattended for that long.

Shit man...those look pretty awesome to me. I wouldn't feel bad at all harvesting this weekend.

Just go ahead and chopped them down just the day before u leave, worst case scenario density and not reachin its potential, ur vacation cant wait the plants can but ur vacation is more important plants... more to come. chop EM down Amigo =)

There is literally no one to look after them.

I'm thinking of harvesting Sunday, then I'd have 17 days to dry them enough that I can leave them in a mason jar for 7 full days without opening it.

They are called Purple Paralysis, so that's where the purple comes in. I haven't fed them in 12-14 days so that's why they are turing yellow.

You've got plenty of time then. May I ask why you are starving your plants of vital nutrients during arguably the most critical stage of their life?

I thought you weren't suppose to feed the last couple weeks before harvest.

Many people feel that is correct. Many don't. I tried to convince my wife we should "flush" her in the last month of our pregnancy but after she explained that if she did not eat for the last month that the child might not develop as well I changed my mind.

Good way to look at it, but you also don't want your kid to be tasting like chemicals either haha

I'll try not flushing next time and see if there is a difference

I am constantly asking people this.

I normally1 flush for 5 days just to keep some people happy, and other plants i chopped them down with out flushing ,... no big difference. so maybe save on nutes?
