Day 54 of Flowering Strawberry Lights , First Time Grow

Did i do good for my first grow?

8) I was wondering when would be a good time to harvest, like the thread title says this is my first grow ever.
I flushed em i can't exactly remember how many days ago :/ i suffer from memory loss. But yea take a look at the pics and lemme know, if ya'll could also guess to how much the yield would be that'd be sweet too. lol This strain is an indica dominate strain as far as i can tell, the two breeds used to make it are Northern Lights and Strawberry Shish Kabob.

haha I cant vote for either of those...I say you did ok for your first time. U don't suck, but it certainly wasn't great either.

Looks a little thirsty in those pics. and I bet the buds are a bit airy...my guess is going to be 21grams dry. You will improve!

Thanks man lol maybe i should add a "in the middle option" for the poll but again thanks for the feedback i got all excited this my first time ever making a thread or interacting on this website

Its the way to go! Better than telling all your friends about it and wondering if they are going to tell a bunch of people. Plus this Is a great community always willing to give advice. Just make sure you get the advice from at least 2-3 sources so you know its a good idea. :peace:

And I always like to keep a calendar to keep track of feeds and waterings, and a notebook to write anything detailed down. Its nice to be able to look back and figure out what you did for success or maybe what you did wrong. Goodluck!

True that, by looking at those pics do you have a guesstimate as to how long it has left?

well for experience sake, i would pull that lady in a week but if you wanted to experience the bud you can give it about 3-4 more weeks and you can get some ripeness.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i read that the later you harvest the bud the more thc particles it accumulates, while in retrospect the earlier you harvest it the more of an energetic high you get, i was thinking of harvesting in about a week to get that kinda high but if you say a month you think the buds will get a lot bigger or no?

I'm lookin for an energetic high out of it, see what i do for a living is i'm a music producer and i make hip hop, pop, r&b beats and then sell them online, i want to smoke and be able to get in the zone and turn up as i'm making my music.

Indica dominants are more of the stoned high, couch-lock kind. If you want a creative energetic high go for sativa dominant plants

I would if i could but i'm jus workin with what's available, i got quite a few of the strawberry lights seeds from my stepdad in NC, and then i got seeds that i have found in my travels lol

You wont get much of a high if shes to immature. Youl want to looks at the resin glands and that will tell you whats going on. Use this picture as a guide.

I don't have a microscope to look real real close like that but i've got 20 x 15 eye sight and a small magnifying glass and most of the trichomes are real cloudy right now

In that case give it a little longer until thyre all cloudy and pull her if thats how you want it. Some better pics would be good bro hah

I'm taking pics off my laptop, ima try and take a good closeup with it at 6 when i turn the lights on ima be up all night anyways

is that a 14 w led panel? If so I would try to add more light that will beef up your next try and get some weight. Looks decent, but also it is your first grow... look at how much you have learned. Now just apply it to the next cycle and you can only get better. Good job on getting this far some people can't even get past germination. Keep at it!

Thanks man and yes that is a 14w led panel shit was 50 dollars it was all i could afford when i was germinating them, i started out with a 40 watt incandascent "plant light" and a 4 watt led bulb from walmart, then i got that, then i ordered the 2, 23 watt clf bulbs and added them so i got the led panel, the 2 clfs and the original led bulb from walmart all on that plant i plan to buy a bigger one from mars hydro here soon
