Your plants do not look happy. For soil I highly recommend Techniflora's recipe for success when you are just starting out or even for more advanced folks. It has a lot of different things you can experiment with. I agree that it is either a pH/water problem or a nitrogen deficiency. Get a soil pH meter.

I've tested the soil many times and it's always between 6.5 & 7.0..
I guess it could be error though, I really should break down and get a good PH tester. Also, they seemed to have stopped the yellowing and all the new stuff is green.. I'm thinking they're getting better. Only time will tell I guess!
