Yes doing salvia first will prepare you for anything, but datura requires a very strong mind/body and really shouldn't be used by anyone but a shaman.

I think salvia will prepare you for any psychedelic hallucinogen experience, but not really for the all out, oh-Christ-I've-lost-my-mind delirium that datura has pretty much always given me.

There are so many wonderful (and legal) plants out there, just try and read up!

haha this is true, i think i did too much because i would get so confused because of the delerium but was too dull to care

Not to mention the two joints I lost while under datura's effects.
